I called to see if these master barbers would be able to do such a specialty design and was told on the phone "oh yeah, we can definitely do that. Just bring in a picture when you come." Fast forward several days until their next available appointment and we show up a few minutes early. No one greets us, we just sit down in a chair. When the time of our appointment arrives, we're still sitting there. A couple minutes later our barber comes in and heads to the back room. A few more minutes go by and he finally comes out and gets my son in a chair, the whole time talking with the other barber and not really paying attention to us. I then show him a picture of what we want and he says matter of factly that they aren't able to do it. I explain that the person on the phone said it wouldn't be a problem as long as we had a picture and another barber chimes in saying "I just heard you say mohawk." (they would have needed a pictures for that?) As we are leaving, clearly disappointed and upset, they try to explain how it was too artistic of a thing for us to think they could do it. They said "we're not waisting your time, why don't you sit down and get a haircut." I informed them that he didn't want a haircut, he wanted THIS haircut. They then tried saying they would be able to do it with a long block of time and it would be a $100 hair cut. Miraculously, this haircut that was too difficult was now possible with more time and money. And so my son and I left. He is now extremely upset and we are trying to find another barbershop that might be able to help.
