Since he was local, we called. We were met with "are you fucking kidding me? It's midnight". First sir, it wasn't even 11pm when my husband called. Second, YOUR website says 24-hour service. He then started to tell us his pricing if he came out this morning because I'm going to patronize a business that curses their potential customers. If you need 24-hour emergency service, DO NOT CALL JOE'S NOTE: I rated one star because Yelp won't post my review without a star rating. My actual rating is 0.

They put it off for 3 weeks and many calls asking when they were coming, stating "they were Busy". I explained that no one could live there without a/c and they did NOTHING except excuses, The part was under warranty and I thought I had to go thru them because of that. After excuses and waiting 4 weeks, they Patrick, mgr) finally said they couldnt find a compressor, then did order it. They then told me a week later their part company that had it, had given it to someone else and they were waiting for them to get another to "make it right." After a week goes by I get a call from a girl in the office sating she finally called around and got another one from another part company and would have it installed the next day. Afte 6 weeks they want to charge me almost $2000 labor for their incompet ance. They could have called around " long before they did and also not waited over 3 weeks to inspect it in the first place.DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!!! They will not make price adjustment for all the inconvenience and the fact there was no A/C for all that time! They certainly have forgotten all about customer service and have gone way downhill in servicing their customers!

When it didn't work, they told me they would send a tech out with a new thermostat. Tech came out and tried to salvage our old thermostat to save us the cost of a new one. Old one was belly up. New thermostat is a digital one I have wanted for years. Had a cool house by mid-afternoon. I have been with this company for over 20 years and they have NEVER disappointed me. I had asked Chat GPT what the likely cause was and it said either the capacitor or the blower motor which is a relatively cheap repair. The guy who came out walked around and looked at the system, went into the attic and looked at the ductwork and told us we needed an entire new system that would cost $14,000, but that they would finance it. We were shocked. He said the system was out of coolant and that they don't make that coolant anymore. He charged us $99 and left. I was speechless. I called my nephew who owns a construction/plumbing company and said he'd send his guy over to take a look but that what the Roberts guy was saying sounded like BS. Sure enough, it was the blower motor. A small repair. I feel like this guy saw we had an older system and just tried to scam us into replacing it to the tune of $14,000. I will never use them again. They have completely lost my trust.
