    Tip jar, don't ask..... :)

We had a good laugh while waiting in line to order. This is a food truck ran by a husband and wife with a great sense of humor. You can tell they love what they do. We ordered the #0 with fries and the "SHUT THE FRONT DOOR" fry sauce. I'm going to talk about the fries and sauce real quick. OH MY GOSH!!!!! Best fries and fry sauce I've ever had! I want a to-go container filled to the brim with fries and give me all the fry sauce! The Philly was delicious and the cheese sauce was to die for! We gobbled it up and were so sad when it was gone. We definitely want to try more and asked how we can find them again in the future. They said The Food Truck League is like their pimp and we can always find them through there. We'll be back, Rickle's!

Tasty Philly Cheese steak, while the other trucks had packed up and left early the stuck around and glad they did as this was really delicious. Great portion of meat ratio to bread. For sure will return when they are back at the Farmer's Market.

We had Rickel's on our food truck lineup today. I wasn't sure what to expect but I am really glad I made it outside to try it out. I had the provolone - which is basically their version of the philly with Provolone. The wait wasn't too bad considering we had a line of ppl outside of the truck waiting for their food. The meat was tasty - a tad bit dry but still flavorful & wishing they toasted their hoagies in oil/butter to kind of give it some moisture - but the sandwich was still good. Fries were great, ran out of fry sauce. Boo! A bit spendy with all of their combos priced out @ 11.80 + tax & tip. Give them a try though! My only complaint is probably not enough jalapenos in my sando.

Their food truck came to my work and served almost 100 of us. Despite the amount of people, they were very friendly and quick with the food! They had two young kids taking orders and serving the food with drinks who were both extremely proffessional, friendly, and hygenic. Very impressed! Their menu is limited to pretty much just a philly with your choice of cheese, but is very humorous and fun to read. Now for the food... Their homemade fries weren't crispy and were very salty, but their delicious fry sauce made up for them! The philly itself was just okay. The meat was bland, and the bread was still cold and untoasted. I don't think I'd have paid $12.00+annoying tax for it if it hadn't been paid for by my company, it seems a little high for the quality of the food.

The Philly I give 3 stars. It was okay, but I would have hoped for a larger meat to bread ratio, and it was good but not great. Certainly not "worlds best". I do like the bread they serve it on though. The homemade chips with the ranch powder are fantastic though. 5 stars for those. They pile them high and they are the perfect cut for my taste. In the future I would probably just order the chips and skip the sandwich. Its too bad they are first and foremost a sandwich truck.. I think they'd do better as a chips truck. I'd love the chips and cheesesteak meat smothered in queso.

Stopped out at the Layton Food Truck Night on June 8, 2022 and my husband and I decided to try them out. Needless to say I was not impressed. My husband ordered their "Worlds Best Philly, and and I have say I am scared to see what they would consider the worst! Very little meat to bun ratio. Hardly any cheese, it was mainly peppers and bread. It also came with what they said were homemade parmesan chips. In the picture do those look homemade to you. I ordered their nachos and only the very top layer of the chips had anything on them. Very little meat as well. I asked if the nachos had quacamole on them and the lady busted an attitude and told me this isn't a mexican truck. She was very rude. The two items we order was $26, so not worth it. Would never go back to this food truck again.

Ya, you're going to feel a little awkward going here. I'm not sure if today was an atypical day but for some reason all these moms were hanging around the truck and getting primo service/hugs/laughs. I showed up and just stood around for a few minutes while NO ONE acknowledged me. I was standing in front! This turned out to be a benefit for me since I discovered they don't take cards. (This is the year 2015 right? I can pay for stuff with my watch now). So I left and tracked down a few cash dollars - extra 15 minutes there. Coming back I still had to just stand there like I was lost for a few minutes until the lady finally asked me what I wanted. I ordered my #1 (Philly with provolone) and extra fries to share at home. As others mentioned you throw your cash in the honesty bucket that they put in your face. I'm guess I'm okay with this. Cook time wasn't bad - maybe 4 minutes. The food is fine. The sandwich was a bit dry for me but the flavor was there. An extra slice of cheese would have helped. The fries are thick and salted very well and they seemed to have a slight taste of my sandwich which I liked. Also, you get a can of soda with your meal. So, will I come back? Maybe. The cooking is fine but they really need to step up their service game. There are a lot of food trucks out there now that won't make me feel like an inconvenience for buying their food. My suggestion for this truck - say hi when people show up and thank them for choosing you to spend their lunch dollars on. Just sayin....

The Alfredo sauce was brown and didn't taste like Alfredo. The sandwich was mediocre. The DP chain is better TBH.

Yes! A legit food truck in Kaysville! I can barely contain my excitement…read more The liege waffles are authentic. They've got the sweet crispy exterior going on, and they're warm & dense on the inside. At first, I balked at the price... $6.50 for the waffle + toppings I wanted?! But the waffles are are good-sized (double the size of a typical waffle). And their presentation was a work of art. My Nutella & banana waffle was almost too gorgeous to eat. We also ordered a strawberry and whipped cream waffle (the whipped cream was the real deal!). And a plain waffle. All three of them were amazing, & filling! They take credit cards as payment, which is convenient! And they use the plastic containers made from recycled materials, to serve the waffles; also a "plus" in my book. They don't have any seating available for their patrons. But eating in the car isn't that bad. Also, the beverages they sell are ridiculously overpriced. The only other less-than-ideal thing about the Waffle Wagon is that they don't offer any savory toppings! I wish they'd take a queue from a successful waffle joint, like the infamous "Waffle Window", in Portland; and start serving up waffles with toppings like: bacon, Brie, and basil! It'd make the Waffle Wagon a lot more "lunch friendly". Just sayin'. Those critiques aside... The Waffle Wagon really is deserving of a five-star review. Especially considering the area in which it serves. I'm thrilled about it's presence! And I hope it stays in business.

Wow! Waffle candy! Ok, not quite, but wow this stuff is sweet and sugary goodness. I finally tried…read morethe Waffle Wagon last night at Black Island Farms. Had the Cowboy - their signature waffle. Raspberries, strawberries, biscoff, cream, etc. My girlfriend is not much of a fan of waffles, or any sweet breakfast food for that manner, but she said one of these is the exception! We definitely wish all waffles were like this. I just wish they were a little cheaper, but they are pretty filling for a waffle!
