Hired to install new shower and left with a poor, dirty job, with POTENTIAL OF FUTURE WATER DAMAGE…read more No attention to detail, and completely ignored return to fix issues and calls. Had the work inspected and now has to be redone. Drywall was not completed with leaving gaps that could house moisture as well as caulking and drywall over the panels showing that they also left holes and openings for moisture and water to get in while showering. The caulking turned green and was uneven and poorly done. Company showed up to install, but felt as if they were in a hurry to get the job done. When completed the job a further inspection was done and showed that valves and tub spout were tilting to the left. Also there was a hole on the flooring that was not sealed, we also called about this. Came back to fix caulking and the shower heads, as well as closing the hole but once again, left in a hurry and we noticed a glob of silicone on the tub faucet which looked odd. Caulk in was new but was even worse than the first time, and hole was plugged up really bulky and uneven. We noticed that there were stains around our faucets. Drywall was u touched and company had promised to come back to get it done. We called the company back, for reassurance that the caulking and silicone could be smoothed out and cleaned as well as why there was so much silicone on tub faucet. Appeared to be looking as if they were hiding something. Failed to show up to appointment and ignored all calls. New company hired and had to take panels down due to showing that the cuts were poorly aligned. Once taken down, poor piping noticed by contractors. Drain was not centered and seal was just pushed in and not properly placed making a leak risk to the floor. The panels and tub also were not properly placed as they were not flushed with each other, and not properly placed on the wall/foundation. The drywall was also just drilled to the panel and with no backing placed which was just leaving no support. Potential for damage to panel and wall. The panel was unable to he salvaged new one had to be purchased.

Having purchased a foreclosed 1920 craftsman, we've been working like crazy to get our old house…read moreback in shape. We've used a few handymen, some better than others. We found John (the owner) to be an honest, hardworking contractor who rebuilt our front porch. He went to at least 3 different lumber yards to find just the right wood for the project rather than simply running to Home Depot to buy whatever they had on hand. He's VERY detailed which we appreciated. He gives a senior discount (we're not old enough to take advantage of it) but it's really nice that he does that for the elderly. John's not the cheapest around but he's got insurance , follows all the rules of city codes, is on time and does a good job. Nice fellow too.

I had what I thought was an issue about our tile roof that would require a complete replacement…read more Every roofing contractor that came suggested an expensive replacement, some without going on the roof to inspect, those who got on the roof but didn't take any pictures or moving a single tile. Jonathan was different. He was all about details and was scrupulous. He took pictures to show me areas that, down the road, may need work. He commented on the cracked screws around the vent cover, the broken seal around the skylight, the flashing being clean, the current condition of the underlayment, the protective metal shield along the perimeter of the house installed by the previous owner, etc. In spite of some minor issues, he concluded that the roof is in good condition and no repair or replacement is necessary. He didn't charge me anything for the inspection when offered . He explained well and was pleasant. We appreciate his expert advice and will definitely work with him in the future for maintenance and/or replacement when the time is right. Thank you, Jonathan LaMoine and Ben for your help. Yes, I recommend the company for any roofing work.

We contacted LeMoine Roofing in December of 2022 to look at a leak we had on our porch of the house…read morewe just purchased in November. Jonathan came over and checked everything out, giving us the unfortunate update that we had a lot more issues than we actually knew. When he inspected our roof for a quote, he is the ONLY roofer who took pictures to explain to us what was going on up there. He is also the ONLY roofer who followed up with us after receiving the quote. We had a small legal battle due to our inspector being negligent which is why we didn't know about any of these roofing issues. We did some research on the products they were going to use and after everything we found out it was a clear choice for us on who to proceed with. We signed a contract with them in January and we just completed our roof and gutter installation before the end of March. There was a lot more damage than what we expected which made us even more grateful that we had Jonathan and his team working on our home. He communicated with us the entire time with daily updates on their progress. We are so grateful to LeMoine Roofing and would recommend them to anyone. We can't wait for more housing projects in the future and will absolutely be giving them a call.
