Roberta was fantastic working with us today to figure out my options with my new car insurance coverage and my other auto and Home insurance coverages. She explained everything to me which was great. I have a better understanding of what my coverage is. They even life insurance. The staff there was friendly and happy. The office was clean and neat and it was just a great visit today. they treated us with respect and kindness and my four-year-old granddaughter was with us and she just was in awe of how special they made her feel. She got a lot of State Farm trinkets, and even ice cream! we've been a customer with Rick since 1998. Him and his team are just fantastic. I just don't know what more to say. I've never had a problem. I've been with State Farm insurance my whole adult life or since I've been driving for 50 years! If you're in the Plainfield area and need insurance, give Rick a call anyone on his team will help you. Thank you Patricia and Ron Schwichtenberg read more

Exceptional customer service by Stephanie from StateFarm! Highly recommend this agency for your car and home insurance needs!

Rick Hakey has been my State Farm Agent since 1999. In 2004 I had a house fire. When Rick found out he immediately called me. He took care of everything. He gave me money right away so I could buy the essentials. Then set me up with a place to stay. The whole process was painless. I didn't have to fight for anything. He took care of rebuilding my house and reimbursed me for the items I lost in fire. A year later I was in 2 car accidents. Neither my fault. One resulting in total loss. I was so afraid he may drop me because I have heard of other insurance companies dropping them due to so many claims. With Rick it wasn't even a thought. I have continued with Rick since. Recently my house flooded due to water main break. Once again Rick called me immediately. Called me personally like before. He reassured me things would be taken care of, no worries. I am so grateful Rick is my agent. You don't know how good of an agent you have until you need them. Rick Hakey has proven to take care of any issue I have had. read more

Rick & his team worked with me from start to finish getting into new home/auto insurance for my family. They advised me of all discount opportunities that were available to me to keep premium costs down; much appreciated! read more

Been with Rick since I moved to the area well over 20 years ago. Nothing but good things to say. When I got into a serious accident, he and his team went the extra mile to do some of the things that was not part of their job. read more

This group of insurance agents are the best around! They have great attention to details and know how to take care of my insurance needs as if it were their own policies. They have helped in keeping my premiums as low as possible when I have brought my 3 young drivers into the policy and always keep me updated as to what needs done to keep it that way. read more

I have been with Rick Hakey's State Farm office for over 35 years! In my dealings with Rick and his office, they all are very informative and confident about explaining my questions. I bundle all my insurance needs to save money! My bundle includes 2 cars, a house, a 5th wheel, a golf cart, as well as life insurance! For me it is a one stop shop for all insurance needs. I have been involved in several car accidents including one that totaled my car and none of these accidents were my fault. Rick explained to me that State Farm would take the lead on covering and go after the drivers insurance companies. It was very reassuring to know that State Farm followed thru on their entire process as it progressed. When I had questions about bills incurred, Rick took care of my concerns. Recently we purchased life insurance and had more questions concerning another life insurance policy that we own. Rick explained everything with patience so we understood the answers to our questions! Rick and his office have been great people to work with and have your best interest at heart! It's very comforting to know that there is an honest, helpful, insurance agency that helps in time of need and understands the complex insurance world. Please save yourself time and frustration by calling Rick Hakey's State Farm in Plainfield. You will never be sorry! Chris Bayer read more

Extremely personable to work with! Ty was awesome and Rick made sure to add his personal touch and make sure everything went smoothly. After 21+ years with State Farm, it's really nice to finally bundle the autos in as well! Highly recommended! read more

This office's customer service is lacking and unprofessional. They made an error and needed additional information for a change they processed. I was charged for their error and given an attitude when I asked for clarification. They emailed me for information they needed to correct their error instead of calling me directly. I am highly disappointed with them and discourage any business with them. read more
