Gary deserves 10 stars!!…read more This review is long overdue. I was recommended by a friend to see Gary and my voice has improved tremendously since. I first came to Sen Music Studios for talent training for the Miss Chinatown pageant. I've never seen a singing coach and Gary was very accommodating and helped me develop my style and brought confidence to my voice when singing. He is a musical wizard and has some of the best equipment I've seen. Long story short, I trained and developed my voice with Gary for approximately 3-4 months and received the title of Miss Hawaii Chinese Princess in 2014. In case you were wondering, I sang Frank Sinatra's "Fly Me to the Moon." I've also seen him for two other competitions afterwards. Prior to seeing Gary, I had extreme stage fright and my vocal chords always froze up in front of an audience. If you are looking for a professional to help you improve your voice, I recommend you give him a call. Thanks for reading my reviews! Let me know what I should try next!!

I find that the private lessons are better but the half hour goes by so fast. The group lessons are an hour but if the kids aren't behaving, it takes time away from my child's progress. Their communication on the portal/email is good. I just wish the location wasn't so far and the price wasn't so much but i believe the value is worth the service they provide. Ms. Kacie has taught my daughter a lot in her vocal lessons while being highly encouraging and sweet.

I was referred to him by Nick Zhou at CK Violins (Check him out if you need an instrument to get started) and am glad I followed through with his recommendation. Since the first lesson, Jean-Michel has been extremely patient with me. As an adult learner, he was very patient with helping me fix kick some of my bad habits as well as help me gain the skills required to learn an orchestral string. He's even been kind enough to work with my and my schedule to really get the most out of each lesson. He's able to help me break down the each piece and provide clear explanation on how I can improve the things I'm doing incorrectly as well as provide drills to help improve technique, sound quality, and/or speed. I would highly recommend anyone seeking a violin or viola teacher to give Jean-Michel a try. He teaches everyone from children to adults and rather you're preparing to audition for a symphony or just to play for fun like I am, Jean-Michel will definitely be a huge help.

Don't settle for anything less than your child deserves. JMJ Studios is fantastic.
