I feel bad leaving this review, because it's been almost 2 years since it happed, but it was so…read morefrustrating I still think about it and the world deserves to know my experience. I took my Chevy in for an A/C system check. I told them I knew there was a leak because I could put refrigerant and the A/C would work for a couple weeks, then stop working. After having my car for a few hours, working on it, they called me back and told me they couldn't find a leak and that they'd recharged my system. I told them I knew that wouldn't work and that I was sure there was a leak and I repeated myself: I could recharge my own system but that it would leak out after 2 - 3 weeks. They insisted there was no leak, so I asked that if the A/C died again in a couple weeks if I could bring it back in as proof. They said yes. So I took my car, the A/C worked for 3 weeks, then died. I took it back in and told them there is definitely a leak. They kept my car for a few hours then they called me back and said there was no leak! I told them I was sure there was a leak, to which she said, "the mechanic checked and there's no fluids on the ground under it". Holy stupid !!! Refrigerant doesn't leak on the ground! It's gas! So I just said, "fine, then will you at least recharge my A/C system?" She said yes. Then she called back and said, "the mechanic doesn't want to recharge the system until the leak is fixed". To which I told her "YOU'VE BEEN TELLING ME THIS WHOLE TIME THAT THERE WAS NO LEAK!!!" She then said, "well we think there's a leak, but we can't find it." Pissed me off!!! So I paid them $200 to check for a leak which I told them was there in the first place, they then told me there was no leak, then when I asked them to recharge my system, only then did they acknowledge a leak! DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE!!!

He didn't have frosted but he had glass that would be good enough for us to close the opening and keep us from the cold that night. Clint was great. He took our bezel and measured the glass needed. It would take a couple hours since he had business ahead of us. We were just happy to have it done so fast. The job was done on time and looked good. We really appreciate Clint and his work. We broke down on a Sunday and, to my surprise, saw that Dad's Garage was listed as open 24 hours a day. Skeptical, I called--and to my amazement, Tyson himself answered. He immediately lined us up with a towing company that could haul our truck, ATV, and trailer over two hours away. Even more impressively, Tyson called us back from church to let us know he would meet us at the shop later that day and get us back on the road. And sure enough, around 6:30 PM, he was there waiting when the tow truck arrived. He quickly got our truck into the garage, diagnosed the problem, and had us back on the road in no time. Since our truck couldn't safely tow the utility trailer with our off-road UTV, Tyson offered to store it at his shop free of charge until we could come back for it days later. And the price? More than fair--especially considering he came in on a Sunday, gave up time with his family, and treated us like we mattered. He told us he runs his business to help others, and I truly believe it. Of course it was pouring rain that day, it was end of afternoon, near closing time, I called a few garages but the Gearheads team saved me. They went above and beyond to make sure I could go back on the road safely and most importantly, right away. They took their time to look for the problem and fixed it like a walk in a park.
