I do love this shop as it feels you've stepped back in time upon entering and sells some fabulous art. It's almost as if this could be put on a ye olde Victorian tour of Cardiff. You may be able to make out the paintings of the galaxy in the pic, I bought one of them. The detail on them are fantastic and is reasonably priced (Under £70), the person who served me as well was so lovely that the whole experience from entering to leaving with my fine painting was an absolute joy. Please visit this place, especially if your visiting Cardiff and want to get a real feel of the culture this city has to offer.

Offering picture framing of varying qualities and style, ranging from conventional frames, canvass stretching to box frames, as well as original artwork and prints sourced from around the globe, signed limited edition prints, in addition to local artwork including commissions, if you are looking for something specifically tailored to your tastes. Gallery 66 is a progressive business that has definitely kept up with the times. These days it provides full-time employment for Dan, (Eva's son, who wasn't even born when the business was launched), an immensely talented artist who works in the medium of print, digitally reworking iconic images, embellishing the original concepts with intelligent and creative adaptations, ultimately creating new and original artwork. Music seems to be a key influence, with album covers and portraits of legendary artists providing much of the inspiration for his work. There's also a very definite interest in graffiti, particularly the work of Banksy. Nina, Eva's daughter is also often in the shop. She comes in to help out when she has time off from pursuing her career as a teaching assistant. Being a family business the service levels are second to none. Eva is a vivacious, smart business woman who really knows her stuff. If you have a space on your wall that needs filling, this is where you need to come!

I've spent many an hour ogling the huge Sex Pistols and Clash posters. So far my collection only consists of a cover from NME with the Specials on, but if you're looking for an unusual gift for someone special this is certainly unusual. The chap in the shop is really helpful and friendly, and the service we've received has always been great.

Although I…read morehave not had any work done by this company, I rang and made an appointment with Dexter to come and give me a quotation on my flat to have all the windows replaced. We arranged to meet at 12 o'clock and I said I will be there in my lunch hour between 12 and 1pm as the flat is vacant. At 12.40 I rang to see if anybody was coming. The gentleman I spoke to said he could see that I was on the board for 12 o'clock. I then said it's nearly 12:45 is anybody coming? I was told that they were very busy and he didn't like the tone of my voice. So, I asked to speak to Dexter. Dexter came on the phone and said to me that I should have phoned earlier rather than leaving it 45 minutes, I stated that I shouldn't be reminding you to keep an appointment. This he did not like and told me it wasn't an appointment it was for an estimate. I reminded him that it was for a quotation and that I stated that I would give him the business if the price was okay there and then. He then proceeded to argue with me that it was not an appointment, this went on. To me it's all the same, if they are coming to give me a price to get the business, then it's an appointment. At the end of the day, I asked when can you come and the earliest they would be able to arrive was 1:20 I reminded him I was in my lunch hour and had to go back to work and this was not convenient. Once again he didn't like my tone and could not accept that the issue was from their side and not mine. I would like to remind Dexter that I am the customer and I was looking to spend thousands of pounds with him, all I wanted was for them to turn up give me a price and agree the deal. I understand it's not a perfect world and things go wrong or you can become overwhelmed with too many customers or pressure from work. All it would have taken was a phone call to say I'm running late and I would have happily waited for as long as it took. But to turn it round and argue with me that I should have rung them because they didn't turn up and then argue with me whether it is an appointment or not is unbelievable. So in my honest opinion, due to the attitude I received and the subsequent texts received I would have to say to anyone "Stay away from this company"

I had to take this company to court. Totally shoddy workmanship and aggressive after sales…read moreattitude. The backbone of my case was to prove that they had installed a product that was not fit for purpose or of a merchantable quality. Not only were all of the windows catching but the openings had chipped corners. I also had draughty doors which didn't operate smoothly and the kitchen door frame was now loose because of all the adjustments. Also they are very rude when you contact them and ask them to rectify their problems and they say that it was your fault and not theirs! AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE!

The site is really easy to navigate. The staff in the shop, to get back into the thing that I am actually meant to be reviewing, are lovely. They all seem to be quite passionate about art and crafts, though I realise that that seems to be an odd statement. They all seem to enjoy art and crafts greatly is perhaps better? The prices are really good and the range is just fantastic so you're almost certain to find what you need. They have a massive selection of craft items such as ribbons, lace, stickers, stamps, and the most beautiful, delicate paper. The staff here are friendly, and even better are willing to offer advice on how to create specific items using these products.
