I began to have tense lower back and upper back pain but just thought I was not stretching enough or needed to work on my posture at work and school, but soon realized it was much worse than that. First I went to a Sports Medicine doctor that told me to work on my core an referred me to physical therapy. That worked for about a couple months and then the fatigue and cramps came back but things got progressively worse, my energy got low and I felt like I was not myself. After researching my symptoms it became obvious that I needed to see a Chiropractor. I started my treatment, but did not feel fulfilled at other clinics. After all my friends and family knew I had this issue that didn't seem to want to go away, they began looking for great recommendations for a good Chiro to send me, since people say "a good one is hard to come by." Well, my mother found the Minnesota Monthly 2014 Top Chiropractor list and I did the rest. Thank God for her ! After zooming into the Chiro's that were closest to my job and school, I found Doctor Josh Stephens's practice Health Source and it has been great ever since! He is truly a great Chiro who is invested in you getting better. The office is always neat and clean. His assistant Erica is kind and pleasant. Dr. Stephens and I worked together on a plan for my improvement and I am a testament of the plan working and life changing! (Seriously). To start off our plan he suggested Active care which required me to come in 3x a week for a month. Then we moved it down to 2x a week and now I go 1x a week for maintenance until I have the occasional flare up due to stress. The take away is, I feel so brand new every time I go and I am eternally grateful. It is conveniently located in LaSalle plaza near CRAVE on the skyway level and accessible during the lunch break, so check them out if you need a Chiro.

I injured my Right knee about 2 years ago, saw my regular chiropractor then and he was absolutely wonderful but my visits to him didn't quite solve the issue, then I had to relocate to MN, also visited a chiropractor here but it did not fully resolve the issue as well. I did massage therapy, regular IV hydration with Toradol to relieve of the swelling, but it continued to recur. I had it x-rayed which came back negative. I wore a knee brace for nearly 2 years, could not do squats, could not jump, cant run. I limped almost every other day to the point where my left leg was cramping as I was putting too much compensatory weight to it. A friend at the gym convinced me to switch Chiropractors and finally February of this year 2022 I did. Dr Jami has a different technique called "the zone" technique - I was skeptical anything could fix this knee however, by Mid March 2022 I was able to start jump ropes, by April I could do a light jog and more substantial squats and by Late April to Early May 2022, I could full on run. The ultimate test was a mile sprint and I was able to do that in 7 minutes and 12 seconds. This review is very relatable to anyone who does crossfit and is very active. I highly HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend.
