The previous periodontist I had seen was unable to perform the grafting, so I looked around for another nearby office where I could schedule a consultation. After looking around and reading many positive reviews, I scheduled my consultation with Dr. Gupta. After stepping foot in this beautiful office, I could already tell that I would love it - it's so professionally run! The employees have headsets, the communication I received was friendly and consistent, and it's almost like a spa - I was offered sparkling water, there is calming music, a lava lamp, etc. On the day of my surgery, I was given eye protection, headphones with a choice of music to listen to, and the warmest, fluffiest blanket - I was so comfortable and relaxed. My pre-and post-op instructions were very clear, I was given all of the proper products I would need (mouthwash, chlorhexidine, plenty of gauze, long q-tips, etc) and everything went incredibly smoothly (Dr. Gupta was fantastic!) This office truly cares about the patient experience and I will most definitely recommend to others if they are in need of dental procedures.

I came in with dental pain in late August and after a consultation with Dr. Josie began a treatment plan.I had 3 deep scaling and root planing treatments with Rosetta and a cleaning the likes of which I've never had. Rosetta put me at ease right away and I still can't figure out how she does those injections! They were seamless and I felt nothing throughout the 3 treatments. My first gum surgery with Dr. Josie was in November. Dr. Josie pays so much attention to detail , that she had Rosetta numb me for the surgery as she remembered how well my prior treatments went with her. Dr. Josie explained everything in great detail, has a very calming and reassuring way about her, and explains what is going on throughout the surgery which I appreciate. She is truly the consumate professional in every way!! Libby assisted and the surgery went better than I ever could have imagined. They explained aftercare and Dr. Josie gave me her card and said to call her if I had any concerns or questions. That night I only took 1 Tylenol when the phone rang and it was Dr. Josie asking me how I was doing!!! Who does that anymore!!!!!!!! Across three procedures from 2021 to 2025, after reviewing the history of my account, I was quoted a lower price each time and then billed more after the procedures were done. They blamed the insurance and the app they use to estimate, but the fact is they don't do pre-authorization for their quotes. For my recent procedure in 2025, they failed to disclose a prior denial for the same code and same tooth from 2021, yet still gave me a quote that was wrong and later told me the insurance "unexpectedly declined" the same code. They also pre-charged me before insurance finished processing, without my consent, which broke their own policy and added confusion to the bill. This left me questioning whether they already anticipated there would be a remaining balance - otherwise, the pre-charge and refund back doesn't make any sense. When I reviewed the documents they sent me, I also found another patient's EOB in my file. Overall, this office shows a pattern of low quoting followed by higher bills, lacks transparency in billing, and fails to safeguard patient privacy. If this is their standard practice, I can only imagine how many patients may have ended up with the same experience I had.

Their staff estimated my service to be $2000+ for a tooth extraction, for which they estimated my insurance would pay half the amount, leaving my responsibility to be $1061.00. to which I paid before I left the premise. A month or two later, I received a bill for $1076.50 - the amount my insurance denied. Looking back, I realized I was naive and they manipulated the situation. I thought they would be accurate by merit that Dr. Jodhan's was a professional organization, that their estimates were accurate based on experience. It was after they put my apron for surgery was put that that said I needed to confirm. I assumed that because they were professionals, I might be obligated to pay $100-200. Also, when though the estimated included a tooth graft, they have the recommendation again - thinking back they knew it was optional all along! $1000+ is a huge amount. Knowing that the insurance company pays a substantially lesser amount than the listed price. And their estimate was way off. I called to discuss a mutually responsible settlement. After ignoring 5+ calls, Dr. Nikisha Jodhan instructed that I could pay the full amount with a payment plan. I find her actions to be irresponsive, manipulative, and misleading--which will cost me $1000+ more than I expected She offered a payment plan after I declared to publicize my experience. I am setting up the payment plan, and I plan to share my experience. I have sent her a similar email--continuing to request discussion. She has not responded. VERIFY ALL INFORMATION BEFORE SITTING ON HER CHAIR!

Well my insurance accidentally sent the reimbursement check to them instead of me, and instead of forwarding it to me (like they said they would) I never heard from them and they cashed the check! Four months later I had to call them when I realized I still never received the check- had I never called they would have made twice the cost of the exam (I paid them, and insurance also paid them).

I recently had my bonds upgraded to veneers on six of my teeth, and the process went very smooth. Dr. Schultz took me in as soon as the veneers came in from the lab (literally called me 30 mins after they arrived!) to switch from my temporaries to the permanents because she knew I had a family party that weekend. I can't thank her enough for the work she did - they look beautiful! I went from being embarrassed to smile, to proudly showing my smile again. I highly recommend her to anyone!

I was a referral from my primary Dentist and I thought I would be in trusting caring hands "Dear Monica, I was referred to Robert J.Ryan DDS by my primary dentist David J. Bohm, DDS to receive an expert opinion on a faint small gray area of my tooth. My intent was to keep my tooth and not have it extracted because I was not in pain. However, after asking Dr. Ryan if there was any possible way to save my tooth, his response was: "Nope it's a goner". After my tooth was extracted and with my face still numb Dr. Ryan mentioned building up the area with bone. I responded: "do what you need to do" regarding my tooth extraction. That was the extent of my consultation that morning. Regarding your letter dated October 12, 2023 is a complete fabrication of events. When you called me prior to my appointment for June 6th of 2023 I asked you if that appointment was a consultation or the procedure? To which you replied: " No, that is for the procedure" My reply "I should probably meet with Dr. Ryan first since I'v never met him prior to the procedure" and you reassured me "that wouldn't be necessary and that I could speak with him for a few minutes before the procedure". I agreed to the appointment because I was referred to Prospect Periodontal & Implant Center by Dr Bohm. Your comment about me "refusing the offer of a separate consult" is false and unfounded , you never extended such an offer. Regarding paragraph 2 of your letter. You never emailed me any options to review. I checked my spam and junk folders to be certain. When I arrived you never once asked me if I had reviewed your emails, because you didn't send them. Regardless, you did not sit down with me to discuss any of these options beforehand, nor did anyone else. Paragraph 5 of your letter regarding "reached out to you on numerous occasions" only after I called several times, emailed your office including on FaceBook's messenger. When I missed your calls I would immediately call back both your office numbers several times to only receive voice mail. Considering the fact that you never answer the phone. What difference would it have made leaving a voice message on Sunday verses your regular business hours, you do not pick up and answer the phone. "Due to the unpleasant incident with you, these courtesies extended to you" What courtesies, your dishonesty. You specifically talked me out of a prior consultation when I had asked you about one. I barely spoke with you when I came in for my appointment. Your speculation that my last voice message "demonstrates a disingenuous attempt in resolving this problem" is snarky and unprofessional. If I had no desire to resolve this issue I would've never bothered to reply. Instead I desperately tried reaching out to your office via phone, email and now by post. I was not threatening to use social media, I am planning on posting my reviews to warn others of my experience. In your letter you falsify events and attack my character, yet, you would like for me to call you to "bring this to a mutually acceptable conclusion" all within the same paragraph. Whom's disingenuous here! At this point there is nothing further to discuss. In my last voice message I asked you to recalculate the charges to a self pay option since you knew from the beginning that Prospect Periodontal & Implant Center was not in my Dental insurance network and would only cover the extraction.
