I think we caught HPT earlier than the doctors that can't think out of the box would have, and I believe that this operation saved me decades of problems. Thank you, Dr. Mitchell, Deedee, Morgan, Colleen, Shannon, Daryl, Matt, and last but not least Michelle!

I was instructed to continue to take calcium for that low lab. I also continued vitamin d since it was trending up but still low. I was worried that I was going to have to take calcium for the rest of my life. But thankfully, my recently pth levels are normal. My vitamin d is finally in the normal range too. It isn't in the optimal normal range but it will get there. I just wanted to share that incase someone freaks out about pth being low after the procedure. So hopefully my labs will stabilize and continue to stay normal. Will update if anything changes. The scar is barely visible too. The incision was made at my natural fold. It healed nicely.

My husband has had three different surgeries at this center, including one for a ruptured bicep…read moretendon. He's a handyman by trade and over the last thirty years he's done some damage. We have always had a great experience at this center. The front desk team is professional and friendly. The nursing staff is top notch, and we were impressed by the level of before and after care. For his last surgery,(knee arthroscopy) we were out of network for the facility, but the office staff (thanks Chris) there worked with us so we did not have to change surgeons or go to the nearby hospital which would have been a huge hassle. The facility itself was spotless, and the reception areas and other rooms look almost brand new. We would recommend having an orthopedic procedure here, the service is much more personal and the experience a lot less stressful than some of the larger facilities.

BEWARE of the UPFRONT Co-pay, even if you tell them your insurance covers it! My daughter had…read moresurgery scheduled for 6:00 AM this past December 9th, 2016, as we arrived for check-in at 5:15 they demanded $837.98 as a co-pay or they would not do the surgery, after pleading we only have a $100.00 Co-pay my wife relinquished and gave in on a debit card that nearly wiped her checking account balance. Next day called insurance and we were right, now we had to fight to be refunded $737.98. We finally got a check on March 25th, and I mean we might as well been using a call center from overseas, it was very unnerving, and how many people just pay it, and move on, VERY DECEPTIVE Practice. I would be happy to talk to anyone regarding this 727-455-0247 Philip

As a result, the visit felt rushed and inattentive. She did not review or acknowledge the information I had provided to the intake nurse/assistant. I specifically asked how I might adjust my swimming to address ear pain when water enters my ear, especially since a swimmer friend had recommended her for this issue. Her response was simply, "I don't know," with no further explanation, suggestions, or alternatives offered. Dr. Parasher was dismissive of the pressure and ear blockage I was experiencing, showed no empathy or kindness, and did not engage when I mentioned that another physician and medical literature indicated that the blockage could be a side effect of a medication I had been taking. Overall, she was short, rushed, and lacking in empathy. I did not feel listened to or taken seriously during the appointment and would not return.

On August 15, 2025, I was given an incorrect injection dose that caused a severe, life-threatening reaction. I was left struggling to breathe for no less than 45 minutes before paramedics were finally called. I ended up in the emergency room, where I required urgent medical care. While I was still in the ER, the office called me -- not to check on my condition, but to cancel my next appointment. After that, no one followed up to see if I was okay. When I later called to raise my concerns, they tried to blame me for what happened instead of taking responsibility. This entire experience has been traumatic and disappointing. Their actions showed a complete lack of compassion and accountability. I'm sharing my story so others can be aware and make informed decisions about their healthcare. Patients deserve competent, responsible care -- not excuses.
