I knew my insurance had a co pay of $30, however, the receptionist insisted she knew my insurance and i had to pay the money! Very demanding! And rude to say the least. After she was informed that she was wrong she said "i will look into a refund...its March 14, still no refund and my bill was paid the following week. Ive called at least 6-8 times, received a call from their billing services, but still no refund. Now their starting to take out money from my current visits, which is the wrong way to handle business. I keep getting put off, time after time. Im disabled, married and on a budget. Poor service! I dont normally write reviews and always give others the benefit of doubt. However, i am so upset that they took my cash, put me off for one reason or another and have MY MONEY! They always try and make you feel like you did something wrong! Watch giving them cash and demand they run it through your insurance first. The receptionist is not well educated in the position. A complete stranger to the office, I never thought I would be so welcomed. After he made an early appointment, I told him my husband felt the same Ok we take care of him, was his response. The next morning, Gemma, the PA handled our visit in the most professional manner. Gemma covered more than any urgent care center. As a six months to Estero, I have now found my primary care provider. My records are in file and Wendy welcomes us with a smile as she takes our vitals. I definitely give 5 stars to the entire staff.

I am extremely disappointed with the care my husband has received at Lee Health Coconut Point. He…read morehas been dealing with severe foot pain for over six weeks, initially treated as gout, and has been given multiple medications with absolutely no improvement. What's most concerning is the complete lack of communication and urgency from this office. We have repeatedly called for updates, and no one returns calls unless we constantly follow up. There has been no proactive outreach from the doctor or staff at any point.My husband had an X-ray done, and we still have not received any guidance on results or next steps. Meanwhile, he is now out of medication and in significant pain, with no support from the provider managing his care. Due to this lack of responsiveness and concern, we are now forced to seek help at urgent care. This level of neglect is unacceptable. Patients deserve timely communication, proper follow-up, and a sense that their condition matters. Unfortunately, that has not been our experience here.
