I read over several reviews for lawyers who were relatively close to my parents location and the only one that popped out was Anthony Nigro. With that said, I picked up the phone and called him. His receptionist was very friendly, and put my call right through to him. Anthony was very friendly and answered all of my questions concerning their Will. It was just before the Holidays and his schedule was full but after I told him my situation and that I was flying in from LA, he made time to fit us in right before Christmas. He answered all of my emails right away and confirmed our appointment the day before we met. I knew that I had made the right choice in working with him but my parents are tough, and I wasn't sure how they would feel. However, as soon as Anthony walked in the door and brought us into the conference room I could tell that they were impressed. He made the process very simple and explained the updates that would be made then asked both of my parents if it was what they wanted before he proceeded. When we left the meeting, he assured me that I could have the new documents signed and copied before I headed back to LA. Now let's not forget, this all took place just a few days before Christmas (Anthony has 2 young children)! He worked on them over the weekend and contacted me to see if we could do the signing on December 27. He also offered to come to my parents house to make it easier. My husband and I went here to get our wills, power of attorney and health care proxy done by them…read morein September. Well, here it is November and still not finished. They sent us the rough draft and we wanted certain things to be written in our will and they refused. We are paying over $1200 and we have a right to have written what we want. I have made multiple phone calls and sent multiple emails and Ronald Kilmartin Jr. never answers them. If he does answer, very abrupt on the phone and in a hurry. Sometimes, it takes them 3 weeks to respond which is not a way to conduct business. We only used them as they were local and did senior law. We did use them in the past, and they were more prompt in responding. If you need wills or other legal matters to attend to, use someone else as they are not responsible. Now, we have to go find another lawyer to finish what they started and pay extra fees which is unfair to us because as seniors, money is tight for us.

At that time I asked if payment should be made but Mr. Rogers said it wasn't necessary, he wanted to review my information and would serve tenants a 10 day nuisance hold over. I never heard from Rogers again. When my son called on my behalf explaining the situation I was in with unstable tenants he was told that E. Rogers "doesn't deal with crazies". If he didn't want to take my case he should have been professional and courteous about it and simply informed me rather than "ghosting" me. I don't understand how he can bill himself as a lawyer for the landlord. I would not recommend this man to represent anyone Gave him 1 star because 1/2 a star wasn't an option.
