He installed a new crown that was way too high and therefore he had to grind down the opposing tooth in the lower jaw so much that I got severe sensitivity. I switched doctors and was told that a different crown material (gold) could have eliminated the need to grind down the opposing tooth. The opposing tooth never recovered, the nerve disintegrated and after 9 months of dealing with the sensitive tooth I had a root canal done this week. Next is a crown on this tooth. Obviously, I cannot recommend Dr. Diercks for crown work.

Dr. Nabeta (and Dr. Salceto) is the only dentist I will ever see, and I dread the day he retires…read more Prior to Dr. Nabeta, I saw 2 'slick' dentists who used all the latest technology but overprescribed unnecessary fillings, ruining my tooth structure and overcharging me. I came to Dr. Nabeta after being fleeced by this other dentist. Dr. Nabeta is highly ethical, expert and experienced, has an incredible gentle, calm and steady bedside manner, listens attentively to patient concerns, will consult with you as much as you need, and has a highly skilled hand in surgery. His approach to my dental care has been to keep the tooth structure intact, if possible, and only prescribing necessary and safe procedures. Dr. Nabeta is a true student of dentistry, keeps up on all the latest research, and conservative in his approach. He only recommends necessary procedures and will spend as much time as you need talking through your different options. Dr. Nabeta also consulted me (without charge) on how to get my father proper dental care after a severe stroke, referring me to reputable oral surgeons rather than treating my dad himself. Perhaps contrary to his own financial benefit, he's truly not out to make a buck. Dr. Nabeta performed the only serious dental work I've ever had in my life, a crown, with such delicate skill and efficiency. I'd trust him with any procedure. Finally, my hygenist Al is the BEST I've ever had in my life. Not only is he kind, gentle and patient, every time I go for cleanings (3x/yr), we geek out on dentistry. He gives me new pro tips every time - impressive considering how many years I've been seeing the dentist. He flosses so gently, I think unmatched in all my years of cleanings. His boundless enthusiasm and joy for dentistry is truly authentic - he loves his job - I've never seen anything like it, and I'm actually excited each time I have a cleaning to go see Al. So lucky that Al is my hygenist, and I also dread the day he retires. So grateful to Al, Dr. Nabeta (and Dr. Salcedo who fills in) for their expert care. This is what every dental practice should look like. THANK YOU for all that you do!!

He seems to know me well from the dr that came before him yknow the legendary Dr pelzar. I am kinda tired when I come here so I might ask dumb questions and the staff here seems all for it, they're very helpful. The dental assistants are where the real power play comes in . I wasn't sure how things would be with not being pelzars people anymore but the woman that gave me a cleaning was awesome. We talked for a bit and well we talked about some regular and also she was so informative about my teeth also. I like how I can go here and know there's things I can take away to learn to do better. She also had me wear these cool glasses instead of my own while I was in the chair. The music she had on while working on my teeth was pretty relaxing . The seat was relaxing . I must be bigger then i thought because I kinda knocked into stuff and she was so cool she seemed concerned about my safety there. She told me all about my x rays so I can tell how much of a pro she is. She even put the x ray bites in my mouth in a way that wasn't uncomfortable. This place is close to my house. It's so close I even walked here so I am glad to still be going here.

Dr. Shifteh is knowledgeable, competent, and thorough, but what stood out to me most was how much I trusted her. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for a dentist who is both excellent at what she does and truly cares about her patients.
