My care post partum was also excellent. Dr chao delivered my son and I don't have a bad experience with him either. With their care and their office staff I had a successful, labor, delivery, & PP experience. Will be going to them again.

Tired of unprofessionalism??…read more You do not have to settle for Tans unprofessional behavior, comments, or practices. Save yourself the trouble and go to Planned Parenthood. They offer more things than you may be aware of. When looking for another gyno in my area, my insurance only was able to give me 2 options: Tan and another one that requires a referral. They did not mention that planned parenthood was an option. Planned Parenthood offers a wide range of healthcare services, including: 1. **Sexual and Reproductive Health**: - Birth control (pills, IUDs, implants, etc.) - Emergency contraception (morning-after pill) - Pregnancy testing and services - STD/STI testing, treatment, and vaccines - HIV testing and prevention (including PrEP) - Abortion services (varies by location) - Fertility and infertility services 2. **Cancer Screenings**: - Cervical cancer screenings (Pap tests) - Breast exams and mammogram referrals - HPV vaccines to prevent cervical cancer 3. **General Health Services**: - General healthcare checkups - Vaccinations - Screenings for high blood pressure, diabetes, and anemia - Thyroid screenings 4. **Transgender Healthcare**: - Hormone therapy - Referrals for gender-affirming surgeries - Support and counseling services 5. **Men's Health Services**: - Testicular cancer screenings - Prostate cancer screenings - Erectile dysfunction treatment 6. **Education and Information**: - Sexual education programs - Information on sexual and reproductive health - Resources for parents, educators, and youth 7. **Mental Health Services**: - Counseling and referrals for mental health services - Support for issues related to sexuality, relationships, and more Services may vary depending on the location, so it's always best to check with your local Planned Parenthood center for specific offerings.

They are kind, knowledgeable, and supportive, but the front office and administrative side has been consistently frustrating. The administrative staff is disorganized and unprofessional. They frequently mix up appointment times, give conflicting information, and make even simple tasks feel unnecessarily difficult. They don't use email or an online portal to send updates, test results, or appointment confirmations, which makes it almost impossible to keep track of anything. Everything has to be done by phone, and the communication is often curt or dismissive. Another major frustration is that any time I need bloodwork, I have to schedule a completely separate appointment with a third-party lab instead of being able to do it in-office. This makes routine prenatal care far more inconvenient than it needs to be. I really wanted to have a good experience here, especially since the clinical care from the midwives has been positive, but the front-office management has caused so much stress and confusion that I'm choosing to switch practices. I hope they improve their administrative processes and communication in the future.

Inconsiderate Staff and Provider…read more Do NOT use Wanda Wilbur for your OB care. I drove long distance to see her and was quickly disappointed. The first time I saw her to confirm my pregnancy. My second appointment was three days later for PAP smear, she didn't remember much about me. But that was not the worse part. My appointment was 11:30, they called the day before to move it up to 10:30. I got there 10:20. I wait, and wait and wait. At 11:15, I came to the front desk to confirm my appointment time that it was supposed to be 10:30. They gave me a blank stare and say "yes 10:30". They didn't bother to apologize for calling me in early and made me wait. I didn't get call in until 11:45, 1 hr and 25 minutes of waiting. Once I saw her, like I said, Dr Wilbur didn't remember much about me and what we did on the first meeting. I did remind her that I need the supply to do the FNA testing. After she did the PaP, she just said "I'll leave you to dress" and left. After I dress I waited for another 25 minutes thinking she'll come back to give me the test supply but she didn't. SHE FORGOT ME. I finally went to the front to ask the staff to find out she was done seeing me. She didn't tell me she was done, she didn't tell me what's the next step, she didn't give me the DNA test supply, she just left me. She finally came back to apologize and told me she ordered lab for me and that I should make an appointment with her in a month. If I hadn't go look for her I won't have know any of these info. Not only that she sent me to this lab place that cost my insurance a lot of money, $500 for 5 minutes lab drawn. And they place they sent the DNA test charge my insurance $6,000. My insurance refused to pay for the DNA so they bill me $750. I used to have Kaiser and all the labs were free. Now I have to pay a lot because their clinic doesn't have lab service and they sent you to very expensive place to get the lab done This place is just trying to make money from you but provides very poor service. I went and look for different OB even if it is far from me.
