From the very beginning, Joshua was honest with me. I came into this process knowing what I wanted, and instead of making promises just to make me feel good, he explained the law, told me what was realistic, and was upfront about what would be difficult to achieve. At the same time, I never felt like he dismissed what I wanted. He advocated for me while also helping me understand when we needed to approach something differently or find another way to protect my son and me. Communication was another thing I appreciated. Joshua gave me his direct number and was very responsive. There were times he answered or called me back even while spending time with his own family, which showed me that he genuinely cared about what was happening with my case. He always treated me with respect, reassured me when I needed it, and took my concerns seriously while still giving me honest legal counsel about what was reasonable. To make matters even more surprising, this was all in the context of requesting a $10,000 retainer, which was truly mind-blowing given the way he conducted himself.
