This was my first time going to see Dr. Michael Betor and wow.....the experience from start to finish was amazing. Kelly scheduled my appointment and made sure I was aware of all the upfront cost. She was so professional and answered all of my questions. I talked to her several times prior to my appointment. All the staff there seem to really enjoy what they do...they are all so genuinely kind, professional and knowledgable. My appointment was at 2pm and I did not have to wait at all when I arrived. Debbie, who was assisting Dr. Michael during my procedure was great! Dr. Michael is very kind and down to earth. He was very patient with me during the procedure, even allowing for breaks. Though Dr. Michael looks very young you can tell right away he is very smart and professional. I loved how he explained everything he was doing step by step. I will for sure be back! read more

I have to say that I found Dr Betor before our wedding. He made my teeth perfect just in time for my wedding day! I have never had to wait long for appointments and I never wait long in the office before being seen! He does a great job! I have never had billing problems like I have had at MANY other dental offices. I recently went back with my 4 year old son and I could not be happier with his care! I am a student, and my school's insurance covers dental care at the Case Western dental school. I came to Dr. Betor for a check up, Cleaning, and x-rays. Everyone was very sweet and accommodating. The x-rays were extremely fast, painless, and easy. The dental hygienist indicated the x-rays are digital and could easily be sent to my regular dentist at Case. I enjoyed my visit. The only downfall was that my dental insurance through school did not cover the appointment, so I had to pay a little over $300 for the services rendered at the appointment. If my insurance covered it, I would be back. read more

I have always had bad experiences at dentists' offices, however, I think I finally found a great office! I had the best cleaning I've ever had. I experienced absolutely no pain. I then went to get zoom whitening. I never believed my teeth could be so white! I drink coffee and wine, and I also smoke. my teeth are sensitive as well. Holy crap balls...hardly any pain! watching someone bite into ice cream sends tears down my face, yet I only felt a few zingers! they definitely take care of you! the best part is that the flossing lecture is minimal and they don't make you feel bad for your vices. I actually set up an appointment for 6 months for another cleaning; I have never done that! definitely check this place out! read more

I bought a groupon for Zoom teeth whitening in March. The staff was very nice and knowledgeable. The Zoom whitening itself was not painful (I also took 2 advils before the procedure) but I did have a couple "zingers" towards the end of the treatment. I loved how white my teeth were for about 3 days, then I noticed my natural color coming back slowly (yellowish at the root of the teeth). Although I got a good deal from Groupon, I dont think it's worth it because the actual bright smile lasts for about a couple days. read more

This is my first review because I'm compelled to report a negative (and completely avoidable) experience I've endured with Richard E Betor, DDS. First off, Richard and Michael are good dentists. They became my regular dentists after I purchased the Groupon and I had a couple of cleanings done there, which were good. However, I've never had such a poor experience dealing with dental claims employees before. They are beyond incompetent. My insurance plan (like so many others) covers two dental cleanings per year, but these people have tried to charge me nearly $400 for the cleanings at least twice now. I thought my insurance company was dropping the ball, but when I called them to ask why my claim was denied, they said they never received it. I mentioned this to the Betor claims people back in September, directed them to the right number and yet I still got another bill today demanding $400. Did these people just think I would forget and cough up $400 later? I'm doubting whether they even filed the claim, probably just trying to bilk the customers for all they're worth. Completely unethical. Unacceptable. read more

The teeth whitening was amazing - I've had it done 5 times and this was my best Zoom treatment yet! - and the assistant was extremely, extremely nice. Even the younger dentist working there who I met on my first visit was extremely nice. It would have absolutely been a 5 star review up until 2 minutes before I left. As I was leaving, the senior dentist came to speak with me, I'm assuming Dr. Richard. He started talking about problems with Obama and Muslims and other politically incorrect information. God love him, and I'm sure he didn't know, because I was wearing just a hoodie due to the circumstance, but I happen to be Muslim. I just don't expect to hear political and religious commentary from a dentist, and don't really appreciate it, but if you only care about how your teeth look, I would recommend it. Wish the team all the best, but it would maybe be a consideration to be a little bit less controversial. read more
