Wow! Visited this place last weekend and I was amazed by the absolutely gorgeous fabrics and the selection. I was not interested in the glitzy / "gown" fabrics for the most part, but the selection is wide and there are amazing silks, wools, and even some cotton and linen. The folks on staff when we visited were super nice and helpful at showing us around. Agree with the reviewer who shops the remnants room - that was me as well. Beautiful finds there! They also have a really nice selection of buttons that you won't find elsewhere. My only regret is that I am not made of money, but if you are shopping for high-end clients you will find amazing things here with no regrets! read more

Wonderful selection of fine fabrics. The store staff was friendly. I saw Jemal briefly, and he didn't speak to me though I was the only person in the shop at the time, but the young lady who works there was just as nice as she could be. When you want some gorgeous fabric not available in chain or discount stores, this is where you go. I took a dress I owned and had it copied in a gorgeous Caroline Herrera fabric to wear at my son's wedding. Jemal's creative input took it up a notch with subtle changes to pocket angles, zipper placement and fit. It's not inexpensive but less than I would of paid at Neimans. It is sad to see an Anonymous reviewer blast this establishment. My experience with Jamal and his assistants has always been professional, efficient and inspiring. He takes his clients wishes and needs to heart and truly works hard to make them happy. I walked in looking for high end fabrics. I have been searching high and low all over Dallas for suiting fabrics, for a clients suit project my tailor is working on. Kathy and Jamal were amazing. They helped me with several really nice selections. I needed them in a hurry so they over nighted what I needed. I was referred to Kathy for a mother of the bride dress by two friends of mine who had their dresses made by her. So I thought I would meet with her. Wow, I was so glad I took my friends advise. She was so professional and beyond accommodating. My dress turned out gorgeous! Also I have a bit of an odd shape, despite that she made me feel skinny and beautiful! Could not have been happier! WORST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE!! Contacted in September to make custom piece for me to wear to my sons wedding end of December. Was still unfinished day before I left. SHE, Kathy, was going to bring the piece by without being finished. No excuses, nothing!! She cancelled fittings at last minute and told me twice that I had come on the wrong day. When she threw it together at last minute it was the worst fit but I had no choice but to wear it. What was suppose to be one of my most memorable events turned out to be not what I had hoped. DO NOT COME HERE!!!! Jamal, who does the couture work and alterations, was the rudest person I have ever met. I have had several friends who have said the same thing, and now I see I made a mistake in trying to see this store on my own. I went to have a custom piece made for my wedding. Instead of it being an exquisite experience that every bride is looking for, it was demeaning, insulting, and just plain rude. He made fun of my looks. He refused to answer any question I had. I asked to see a few pieces for examples, and he refused to show me, stating I had already seen them. He had an attitude the entire visit. Is he really trying to get business from people with this type of customer service? The other assistants could've cared less. I am so glad I didn't trust him with my wedding piece. He doesn't care about bringing your fashion dreams to life. Save your time and your money. Go elsewhere. Everyone deserves an extraordinary experience, especially with fashion. read more
