Some other things that I was told needed to be fixed by other people turned out not to be true and they knew that, so they didn't try to sell me on that. They are wonderful guys because very rarely do you find a place that doesn't make up other things to sell you on.

Was informed they have no openings till next week and that the diagnostic fee is $250+ (can't remember the exact amount). Was also informed should I choose to have the repairs done by them that the fee would not be credited, it is considered an additional fee. Something about the whole conversation sounds shady and unwelcoming.

All this to say, we I took the car to Ruben's. I'd rather pay them instead of Toyota service dept. Within 30 minutes, it was determined the fuse was blown, replaced on the spot! We figured it was the fuse per what we searched online. But Toyota service dept wouldn't even discuss it Wanted to share and give credit to Ruben's Automotive. We have taken our vehicles there for a while and always receive excellent service and reasonable $$. I paid less than peanuts for replacing the fuse. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
