At one point I waited for over 3 hours past my appointment time with my 1 day-old daughter screaming in my arms. This is absolutely unacceptable. The first time going in where I unloaded a lot of issues and did not have any of my records from other Dr.'s offices transferred, she had tons of information and suggestions to offer about what I was going through. She was prepared to recommend medication, physical therapy, other doctors for different issues, and techniques on how to manage stress and anxiety. The appointments were lengthy to air out any concern I had and the office staff are very responsive to phone calls and questions too. Definitely recommend this location. With my insurance, it's cheaper than the major healthcare facilities and here you can usually get week-of appointments. Once, I even got next day. Major healthcare facilities book 3 months or more out.

The nurses and staff are kind and usually are pretty good at finding my veins, although today it took three times :(. They have WiFi so I usually bring my iPad and phone, and watch a movie or TV show. I'm usually here around 3 hours - the infusion technically takes 2 hours but setup takes another 30-60 minutes. At least for me, they have to take my temperature and blood pressure every 15-30 minutes during the infusions, as well. There's ample parking, too, although if you're using Google Maps to get there, be aware that it'll drop you in the plaza next to it rather than the correct plaza. Since we're in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, masks were required this time. I brought mine although there was a sign that said masks would be provided if you don't have one.

It doesn't help that it has a small highway presence and is nestled in among residential properties. That said, they have plenty of parking near the entrance way to the office. Another nice feature is a two door entrance, one leading to the handy vestibule, which is useful for people in need of assistance. The next door leads to the waiting room, which has plenty of seating, a coat rack near the door, a TV off to one end, and a water cooler serving up bottled water by the cup. They have doctors on staff who evaluate progress with the treatments and make sure everything is up to snuff upon completion of the patient's prescribed infusions. The office staff is pleasant. I understand the medical staff that performs the actual procedure is also pretty nice, although I do not interact with them at all. I take a family member for daily infusions to kill off (obviously, by their name) an infectious disease. I believe to be a patient, you have to get a referral from a physician outside of their office, as this medical office deals with seriously sick people, and not something as routine as the common cold. Once an initial office visit has been made and a schedule of daily treatments has been established, the patient is allowed to pretty much drop in each day on their own schedule, arriving during normal business hours. This flexibility certainly reduces the stress of having to keep appointments. Let's hope you never need to utilize their services. But if so, you can have the confidence that you are working with professionals who are experts in their field.

Horrible experience at Unisource. I arrived with my elderly mother for a knee replacement. I had a…read morewell trained and very polite service dog with me. When checking in they said nothing about the dog being a problem. They took my mother back to prep her for her surgery. The RN Sandy then came and told me I needed to put my dog in the car so I could go see my mother. It was 80 degrees out so this was not going to be an option and not safe for my dog. As this would also be considered animal cruelty to bake my dog in the car. An 80 degree car parked in the sun turns into 123 degree. So I did not get to see my mother before surgery. After surgery Rn Sandy came out and told me to take my legitimate service dog home or again put her in the hot car. My mom and I both live over an hour away. So this was not an option. RN Sandy never asked me about my dog. According to ADA law they are allowed to ask me 2 question about my service dog. Rn Sandy never did this. Instead the RN that was taking care of my mother asked my confused elderly mother about my dog. This is against ADA law. The RN also asked what my reaction was to my allergen which is against HIPPA law. My reaction has nothing to do with me needing my service dog and is none of anyone's business. Since I was not allowed to go back to see my mother after her surgery I do not feel I was given adequate discharge instructions. Instead they gave my subpare instructions in the lobby in front of all the other family and at the back room of the building where the automatic door kept opening and closing and interrupting the instructions. My mom felt very alone and scared since I could not be by her side for comfort. So this facility doesn't know or follow ADA law for service dogs instead they are making up their own rules. Horrible experience. Rn Sandy was extremely rude and very unprofessional. She yelled at me in the lobby that my dog was not allowed back to see my mom and when I tried to explain the law she just walked away. Rn Sandy needs to be educated on ADA law for people with a disability. The entire staff walked by where I was sitting and gave dirty glares the entire time I was at the building. The only person nice to me and my mom was the physical therapist. I have reported them to the ADA and filed a complaint. Just to give some information on my dog she is an allergen detection dog, and she also retrieves dropped items, closes doors, and provides balance for me. She has had over 3 years of professional training.
