I found Emerald Coast Podiatry with great reviews and made an appointment. Dr. COSIMO A. RICCIARDI, DPM provided excellent care. After a few appointments, he introduced us to the Swift therapy which worked extremely well and also cleared up other warts (non plantar) my son had on his other foot. While this treatment wasn't covered by our insurance, it actually saved us from repeated visits if we continued on the traditional path we had been on. I was very impressed with the care we received.

Took my daughter for ingrown toenail. Doc said he will fix and we will never have a problem again…read more Had the problem again. I can live with that and understand. But we went back and he did the procedure a 2nd time because it didn't work the first time(in grown toenail). Asked him if I was being charged for the 2nd visit. Was told "no" 2 months later started getting collection calls saying I didn't pay my bill for the 2nd visit? The one to fix the problem he didn't fix the first tome. The bill I was told I wasn't getting because he was going over his work a 2nd time.

I had no issues with the X-ray tech or the PA who I saw. I thought they were very professional and knowledgable. Reception, however, is a disaster. First, there is nothing preventing the whole lobby from hearing everything you discuss with the receptionist. The seating area is very close to the reception window. I felt very uncomfortable with so many people listening (whether they had bad intentions or not). Next, on both occasions, the receptionist seemed like I was truly inconveniencing her by being there. Rude, short, loud. No "please" or "thank you's." I just really didn't appreciate it. There was no concept of customer service at all.

Worked with my daughter's softball schedule to fit her in last minute to help treat a sprained ankle (she did 4 days earlier). We were at a destination softball tournament and time was of the essence to help her be able to play. She was instantly walking better after first therapy session and still is. Still some slight pain of course because the ligament has to heal but the immediate improvement was amazing. We are so thankful for all their care & flexibility to schedule us in quickly.
