Jose took my $200 deposit and never showed up to cater my event…read more Let this be a lesson to me, but hopefully a learning opportunity for anyone else. Please do not conduct business with this person. I communicated with him in May, we settled on a menu, the logistics, etc. I sent him a $200 deposit for what was going to be a total of $450 for a taquiza for 40 people. One week prior to the event which was held on June 12th, I text him to make sure we were good to go. No response. I text him twice a day every day for a week and he did not respond. I called several times and it went straight to voicemail. I even had other people call or text from different numbers to see if this would entice him to respond. Nothing. What's done is done, I asked him for my money back but I'm sure I won't hear back. I can't stress this enough: Please do not conduct business with this man.

I had a house party for the 4th of July and wanted to keep cooking to a minimum and decided to contact Jose. He was extremely pleasant and very professional. Not to mention the tacos were delicious. He gave me the best rate and showed up early to set up. I was thrilled that he was willing to do a night party (7-11pm) on a Holiday. He allowed me to choose 3 types of meat, and brought onions, cilantro, limes and 3 salsas. Everyone was more than satisfied with his service and I will definitely hire him for my next party. Don't be afraid to contact him. He works all over the bay area.

Last week, they sold out by noon, so this week, I made sure that I got there early. There were plenty of options at around 10:30 a.m. The team is so nice and friendly. Their system is highly efficient, and there are just the right amount of cooks in the kitchen. The cashier was so sweet. He remembered my family from last week even though I came without them this week. Support this business, and they will not disappoint. They have crispy pork, tofu, and chicken banh mi. They also sell Vietnamese coffee, which I will have to try next time. The large banh mi is $15, and a small is $10. Come support this business so they blow up, and I can get a good sandwich any day of the week at a brick and mortar location

The food was incredibly fresh, and the bun was just perfect--crispy on the outside and soft inside, just like the ones in Little Saigon in San Jose. I'm so excited to have something like this nearby! The business is family-run, and you can really feel the warmth and care they put into their food and service. The coffee is out of this world--so delicious and definitely a must-try! The pickles in the banh mi were flavorful and balanced everything perfectly. Service was friendly, quick, and welcoming. I can't wait to come back next week and wish them all the success they deserve! There are picnic tables for folks to enjoy their banh mi nearby to enjoy farmers market vibe.

My husband and I got the veggie chow mein, veggie momos (dumplings), and split a mango lassi. I found the flavors of the momos to be a bit subtle (unfortunately common for veggie dumplings here in the Bay Area), but the veggie chow mein was decently flavorful. My husband liked both things we got equally, as far as I could tell. The food tasted fresh, and it was nice to be able to pick up a light lunch before continuing to trawl the farmer's market. The mango lassi is exactly what you expect (can you ever go wrong with a mango lassi?), and was nice and refreshing. It's a food truck, so the seating available is probably going to vary a lot based on where you encounter them. At the Fremont farmer's market there were a couple of tables shared between this and another truck, and since we were having a late-ish lunch towards the end of the market, we had no problem getting a table (but there was no chairs). The person at the window was friendly and answered my questions about the food when we were ordering without issue (I am allergic to eggs, so I often have to ask more questions than most people). Overall, not bad and I really appreciate that they have vegetarian options, but what I had is not enough to seek them out specifically.

We were the only ones dining in person but I noticed quite a few take out orders as well as food delivery orders. I ordered the Camarones Al Mojo De Ajo and we also ordered the enchiladas plate. Both were delicious with significant portions. We also enjoyed complimentary chips and salsa. Everything from the rice to the beans were flavorful and well seasoned. The red sauce on the enchiladas was so delicious we were dipping our chips in it. The staff was friendly and efficient too. They do have some vegetarian options, not a ton however. I tried chile relleno burrito with pinto beans. Portion is good and ratio of fillings felt proportional ( rice, beans, sour cream etc). I appreciate it when wrap is grilled, I hate raw or steamed tortillas . Overall pleased with food, bit salty for me but tolerable. Not sure I would come often as it's tad far from my office and limited street parking + no restroom.
