What I don't like -- and the primary reason I didn't give this practice 5 stars -- is the rather lackluster front desk staff. Actually, "lackluster" is being kind. Based on my most recent experiences, "lackadaisical" would be a more accurate description. And even that is being generous. The last time I checked out after my appointment, one young woman at the front desk looked to be half asleep and barely hid her boredom and contempt when she had to briefly engage with me. Ok, I get it -- you don't like your job and you were meant for better things -- but can't you even pretend to be somewhat friendly and responsive to patients? I thought that was the bare minimum for any front desk personnel, but at this front desk, asking for the bare minimum can be asking for too much. (Note: not all of the front desk people are rude/disinterested, but lately, this is the general vibe, and it can be quite off-putting. It's too bad, because otherwise, this practice could be really good...I'm surprised the dentists here are not more aware of this rather glaring problem...or maybe they are and just don't care?). I don't see any other recent reviews here. So I'd be curious if anyone else has had this same experience.

All my life I had major phobias about dental work and it wasn't until coming to these fabulous dentists that I overcame my fears. In fact, my entire family AND my senior mother were patients. Recently, I came in for routine hygiene with Joe and met the new dentist, Dr. Rosa Mathai. She's just as wonderful, calming, efficient, and professional as my previous dentists, and totally adorable. Dr. Mathai is very thorough and conservative - not doing unnecessary dental work unless she feels it's in the best interest of a healthier mouth. Overall, I love the dentists and wonderful staff of this office. They're all so helpful and reassuring and most of all, honest and transparent. Highly recommend them if you ever need dental work. Service: They told me my crown needed to be replaced even though it wasn't hurting me. Fine. I paid the $800+ and they replaced my crown. I've never had such a painful crown replacement in my life. I couldn't chew for almost a week after. Quality: Ever since I had the crown replacement I've had worsening pain in that area. I reached back out for an appointment. However, because my job only really allows me to go in on Monday or Friday they basically ghosted me. I guess they are booked on Monday and Wednesday in perpetuity.

I don't know if it was the day, or his demeanor in general, but it was a cleaning appointment and for some reason the dentist himself decided to do the cleaning instead of the hygienist. It was painful and crude, either from lack of recent experience, or ego. Dentists get a bad rap, and that experience didn't do this place justice. Ego has no place in healthcare, and I expected a lot more from this practice.

I specifically liked that there was a handicap accessible bathroom in addition to a male and female restroom. I enjoyed meeting another tradesman in my trade of programming while in the lobby. Overall, not only is Dr. I is among the nicest dentists I've ever met--the kindness carries over to his staff who helped hand me the key while assisting a elder patient needing to access the restroom.
