Whether you're looking for a place to release energy through creative movement, cultivate…read moreindividual skillset through artistic expression, pursue technical training for personal growth & professional interests, or simply a starting point to explore the beautifully diverse world of dance, Dance Dimensions has a space for you! There are many different styles, levels, & class/program options available for the young, developing, recreational, & competitive dancer, with each class taught & led by an accredited dance professional. When I was a young teen aspiring to dance on a university dance team, I knew the studio that would help me accomplish my hopes & dreams - Dance Dimensions. The instructors at Dance Dimensions provided me with individualized training from 1999-2006 & led me to experience my dream of dancing both collegiately (on GVSU's Laker Dance Team) & professionally (on the former GR Arena Football League's Rampage RAGE Dance Team). I don't know if I could have made these teams if it weren't for their encouragement, support, dedication to helping me achieve my goals, & their professional dance expertise. As a mom of 3 dancers, there was no other studio in my mind to select for my children's dance training. My daughters have participated in both recreational & competitive dance at Dance Dimensions since 2013 & our experience has been nothing but superb with instructors, studio professionalism, performance opportunities, & more. Under NEW ownership as of 2023, I am confident Dance Dimensions will continue to thrive in reputation, respect & credibility both regionally & nationally for years to come

My five year old daughter started at Dance Dimensions last fall when I first moved to the area…read more Where we used to live, she enjoyed dance very much, and had wonderful instructors that made it fun and challenging. Dance Dimensions has continued her dance instruction along that same path, and has really kept my daughter engaged, entertained, and learning at a wonderful pace. My daughter has had two classes so far with two different instructors, and they've both been fantastic experiences. The instructors are very attentive to what is going on with the students, and for those parents that take an interest in their child's progress (such as myself), they'll engage you and let you know how things are going and make comments and recommendations after classes. She starts her third class there in a couple weeks, so needless to say I'm very pleased. My daughter loves it and is truly excelling at the hands of the Dance Dimensions' instructors.

I attended a small private bachelorette event at Flirt Fitness Studio and had a really fun time…read more Once you enter the building, you fill out the waiver and write a nametag for yourself. Think first pet name + your street name + the word "sparkle" or "sexy. We went around the room and everyone introduced themselves with their flirty name, then went into the studio and got to work with a silly warmup - lots of ballerina twirling, rolling around the floor like bugs, and rave dance moves! It was fun and got some nerves out for the group. Our instructor, Justine, led us into some chair moves. At Flirt Fitness, they focus on empowerment and being comfortable in your body, which is really cool. The moves weren't over the top sexy, and they were accessible for everyone there. Then we moved into some pole basics, which were a little more advanced than the chair moves but Justine did a great job with showing us modifications and went around to anyone who needed help. We put everything together and did a performance with the chair moves and the pole tricks. Finally, we got to shower the bride to be with fake paper money and finished up with some photos. It was a fun experience that I enjoyed. A few tips: Bring a playlist or some songs that would be good for this type of class -- we had some ideas but got a little stumped when Justine asked us for a really good song after we'd played the ones we thought of. Be open and have a good attitude, and have fun! The staff did a good job of asking if anyone had any injuries and taught proper form so we could avoid hurting ourselves. I would definitely recommend Flirt Fitness for a fun event!
