I understand that there's a smiley picture of this glum, dower and "stoic" woman. I will not speak of the efficacy of her skill, seems okay for now, I think she does her job. But and most pertinent to this review; her staff people are great; she, the OD has the bedside manner of a reptile, snapped at me for making a little joke or two and said I was wasting her time. Not nice. Out of the two times I saw here she didn't smile once and I'm thinking, as an arm chair psychologist, she needs to retire. Best eye doctor I've ever been to. Dr. Van Dran was genuinely interested in finding a solution to my somewhat complicated vision issues. She was kind, thoughtful, knowledgeable and professional. I liked the initial visit but I will never go back. I have been calling for months requesting my contact prescription that I paid for. They will not release it to me because they want me to buy contacts through their office. I have a brand that I love but they want me to buy some that are uncomfortable and more expensive. I have never in my 15 years of wearing contacts/ glasses had such a difficult time with an office. They will not return my calls and when they do answer I am always told that they will call me back and never do. Do not go here. My appointment was in March and I still have not been able to get my prescription. read more
