Voted the Triangle Area's 2018 Best Guitar Instructor in 2018, I teach radical drum, guitar, bass, ukulele, harmonica, beat production, and jazz band lessons to students of all ages, all experience levels, and all styles of learning.
Our shared goal: help you find YOUR connection with YOUR instrument!
You focus on how fun the instrument feels, how beautiful the noise is, and how great it feels to play one of favorite songs, while I sneak in the fundamentals and (gasp!) even some music theory.
My ten years of private lesson teaching has taught me that anyone can be a musician, all they have to do is start playing music, and never stop playing music!

History
Established in 2016.
I've been a professional musician for over 20 years and began teaching when I moved to North Carolina in 2016. Since starting out at the Music by Steve studio in Fuquay-Varina, my roster of students has grown steadily with the overwhelming support of the awesome local community who nominated and voted for me to become the Triangle's Best Local Guitar Teacher in 2018. In Spring 2020 I founded my own studio, which now operated in Willow Spring.
Meet the Business Owner: Jeremiah R.
Born in Virginia, Jeremiah began playing drums at around 12 years old, learning from mimicking videos on MTV. A few years later, he was formally trained in both Latin and jazz percussion, learning how to read and write notation.
Along with playing guitar, he also learned how to teach from his instructor, as he knew someday he'd want to follow the same profession. Now, almost 20 years later, he's instilling everything he's learned over the years as both an instructor and a professionally touring musician to provide the most in-depth, constructive, and positively rad music learning environment available in the Triangle.
He currently teaches at his home studio in the woods and the Music by Steve studio in Fuquay-Varina, NC.
