Pretty good food. Not bad in ambience…read more We had the fried beans which were excellent. Highly recommend. For entrees we had a couple of their grilled chicken wraps and the Woody Smashburger. I read the menu wrong because when I saw "grilled chicken wrap" I thought it was grilled chicken that was in a cold wrap. Especially because it had lettuce. But it is apparently a chicken wrap that is grilled like a panini. It was good but the lettuce inside became quite soft being that hot. Not my favorite texture. No sides included in your entrees so $11 seems reasonable for a chicken wrap until you realize that it would be $4 for fries. We paid for a side of fries with the smashburger and it was probably the equivalent of a medium at Wendy's. So not the best value. But the taste was very good. Overall I would eat here again. Service was pretty fast for a Friday lunch.

The owner is super friendly and made sure we had a great time. Was a blast being able to play some of my childhood favorites. I couldn't believe most games were only 25 cents. Typically when you think pizza and arcade you think of chucky cheese and to be honest I think that made my expectations for the pizza to be absolutely terrible. To my surprise it was awesome! The perfect amount of sauce, a light saltiness, herbs and spices you can taste right off the pizza. This thing was packed with flavors. The tables have plenty of red pepper, salt pepper and cheese, and there's even free water. Bathrooms were clean. All in all I'm looking forward to bringing 4 of my friends this Saturday to play some Guantlet! Can't believe this place has been sitting under my nose but happy Keokuk has a great arcade and pizza place!

But actually really enjoyed my time here. Here are my favorite bits: - The tour guides were extremely knowledgeable of the place. Definitely can learn a lot not just about the museum but about Mormon-ism as a whole. - I appreciate the amount of storytelling there was throughout the tour. It almost felt like you were in the same room when Joseph Smith passed away. - I appreciate that the tours were extremely small, so it was more intimate that way. Overall, not a bad place to go if you're stopping by Carthage. Definitely helps you get a good understanding on why Carthage came to be on the map.

Visiting Carthage Jail can be sad, because it's where Joseph and Hyrum Smith were martyred. But, I'm grateful for the opportunity to remember the great lives they lived and the contributions to the salvation of mankind they made. To quote John Taylor, "They lived great..." I'm thankful for all of the blessings that I enjoy today because of them. The Church of Jeuss Christ of Latter-day Saints has taken extraordinary care of the site. The missionaries at the site are wonderful and give complimentary tours. The history of the site is well worth a visit.

We were warmly greeted and the owner was friendly and very knowledgeable. He restored the winery/stagecoach stop himself (he even shared before pictures) and makes the wine himself from the old recipes from the area, and from the fruits of the area (except for the lemons, which come from Arizona). The wines were unique and very good. Prior to this, I had never had rhubarb wine or a wine made from multiflora roses. Both were heavenly, and neither of us tasted a wine there that we felt wasn't good. The building itself is very neat and has much of its original charm, including the original windows. There are a few nice outdoor seating areas and a nice garden, as well. Know before you go: This place only accepts cash or check. There is an ATM down the road in a local bar.
