I would highly recommend asking for a paper copy of your bill and checking it closely to ensure it's accurate before paying anything with cash. Our waiter simply verbalized an amount and wouldn't provide a copy of the itemized bill until I repeatedly asked for one, then low and behold it was inaccurate and he somehow accidentally overcharged us.
