They worked for about 7 hours and completed the job beautifully. they kept the area clean and were particular with the installation. I now have a gorgeous floor surface! I wish to thank Taylor and Mike for their efforts to provide me with this timely improvement to my home and would recommend T. Positano for any service that he can provide. B. Colpitts

All week, Eric advised me that he would attend the next day, or day after, but never showed up. Despite knowing that all my furniture was piled up in my living room to facilitate the work (new floor installation), it wasn't until almost a week later that he sent workers on his behalf, who could not install the floor, as they lacked the proper tools to do so. I'm finally cutting my losses and going with someone else. I hope this review helps someone avoid what has been the worst experience I've ever had with a contractor.

We hired Mr. Priest of Priest Chimney Sweep & Restoration Specialists (705-721-8100 Barrie,…read moreOntario) to replace the chimney cap that blew off our chimney the 22 Mar 2007.He came and installed what looked like a used one. His receipt (available on request) consisted of nothing more than his business card with the following on the back. 857525__185202.52My wife informed me that he charged 85 labor, 75 for the cap and 25 for applying silicone to part of our roof.I am concerned that he does not claim his taxes as he only wrote the receipt on the back of his business card, which I have, and he recorded this no where else. His total before taxes, $185, does not coincide with the total of $202.52. That tax value cones to 9.5%, a strange value indeed.Shannon, my wife wrote him a check for $252.52 vice 202.52 by mistake. Mr. Priest cashed it.I have called him well over 10 times. He has replied with, ?The check is in the mail? many times. I asked him twice to put a return address on his envelope. He does not return my calls. It is quite evident that he has no intention of returning this overpayment.Mr. Priest should be ashamed of his unprofessional business practices.

I cannot say enough good things about this company. They were on time (earlier than estimated in…read morefact), right on budget, and the work was fantastic. In the real world, you'd unfortunately get one, maybe two of these things when renovating so we feel extremely lucky. They happily worked with the initial estimate (tweaking here and there) until we were completely happy with the plans and cost. The staff and contractors are all extremely kind and helpful. We had a major issue come up, and instead of simply repairing and carrying on they brainstormed and implemented a preventative fix so that the issue would not re-occur in the future. Paul and Maureen were so easy to communicate with and were transparent throughout the entire process. We made multiple changes to our existing plans, and they never hesitated or became frustrated. They also never pushed unnecessary work onto us and went the extra mile numerous times to ensure our house was safe. The type of renovation we did was a complete gut job - a lot of money and a ton of work, but this team made us at ease and confident the entire way. We have been recommending them to anyone who will listen!!!!!
