I was looking to get a fitting for a set of irons and there isn't a lot of places in The Valley. I contacted them via their website and received a response from the owner, Tim, by the end of day. I called to check availability the next day and as it turned out they had an opening the following day. It's a small place in a small mall-like area. I walked in 30 minutes early and met the owner and Gene, who would be doing the fitting. I was impressed with the friendly, outgoing attitude of everyone. I was made to feel totally at ease. The fitting was fairly thorough. Gene gave me one small setup tip which helped and in about 45 - 90 minutes I was finished and placed an order for clubs. The computer generated report that showed the results of my fitting including club recommendations was in my inbox by the time I reached home. The simulator/fitting "bay" is rudimentary but sufficient for the task. Gene's knowledge is quite good. Their equipment, launch monitor, screen is ok. Not new by any means, but it gets the job done in the end it's the PEOPLE that make for a great experience, not the equipment and Elliott's has that to a tee. I'd definitely recommend them to anyone for a fitting if any golf needs. Fuzz the cost of the fitting was more than reasonable; $50! Visit them. You won't be disappointed.

This depiction of Jesus Christ was created in the late '90s in memory of Gustavo De La Lastra and Jose Edwardo De La Lastra. Their June 1988 deaths by asphyxiation aboard a shrimp boat occurred "after using a chemical preservative on their catch." A lawsuit by the parents against chemical's manufacturer, General Chemical Corporation, ensued. I didn't know about this tragedy beforehand, however, the statue remained absolutely beautiful. I wish that the island wasn't so trashy on May 28, 2025 when my daughters and I visited. If that wasn't enough, daily vehicle passes were $12. Their parents oblivious to me trying to exit. Aside from the owner or shop manager who was very offensive and inappropriate towards my friend making sexual comments when getting the cart initially, it would have been a great experience.

The reason I am giving this golf course a 1-star rating is due to my experience on two separate…read moreoccasions over the past four years. Both times, I arrived with high expectations of playing a quality course. However, it wasn't until after paying the full greens fees and beginning my round that I discovered significant portions of the course were under repair. During my first visit, nearly all of the greens were being renovated, and temporary greens had been set up in the middle of the fairways. On my second visit, I again found several greens under repair, with some holes still utilizing temporary greens. I understand that course maintenance and renovations are sometimes necessary, and I would have had no issue with that had I been informed beforehand. The problem is that there was no disclosure prior to payment, no notification at check-in, and no signage indicating the extent of the repairs. As a customer, I feel this is information that should be communicated upfront so golfers can make an informed decision before paying full price. Unfortunately, after experiencing the same lack of transparency on two separate visits, I cannot recommend this course.
