So, after waiting for another 25 min the dentist chair, they told me my estimating time: 25 or more minutes or MoRe! So at 5:40 we left with nothing done, at that time they offered me to re-schedule but I promised not come back :/ to experience the same again. Over all cause a few months ago I arrived late 15min and they canceled my appointment and I understood was my fault, but this time the lack of communication was the worst. They probably forgot about us outside, I had to call them to remind them we're still waiting even do, they didn't given me the papers or a call to be ready, I had to call again to ask.

I had this motherly instinct and took her for a second opinion. Turns out her cavities are very small and they can be taken care of at the dentist's office. This dentist seems to care more about billing our insurances than really what is best for his patients.

I asked how much the Xray and first consultation would be and she said $107. When I got there , and was sent inside with the nurse , she proceeds to take an X-ray of only one side of the teeth (where I had pain) and not the full set. We called her in and she said that she was sorry for the misunderstanding (not mine) and that the complete Xray of the mouth and full diagnosis was $188. Once she was done she said that the Dr. Rentería would see me , I said hold on , I specifically requested a meeting with Dr. Adame because he was recommended to me by a friend. She said that he never comes in on Friday's and that Dr. Rentería would see me.Dr. Rentería comes in and says that there are 4 dentists in the office and what was the issue. I stated that I had asked to see Dr Adame but since I was already seated that she could go ahead and do the exam. From then on , her attitude was appalling ,by the tone of her voice I could see that she was upset that I had insisted on Dr. Adame and said twice to me that she too was a good dentist , I never doubted her but I had a choice since I am a paying client and had been recommended. Once she finished the examination she states that I need an extraction and that only Dr. Adame and Dr. Mohamed were able to do that. She then reiterates that Dr. Mohamed is also female ..... I said what ?????? Why would you say that ? I never once cared whether any Dentist was male or female , I'm not a male chauvinistic person but she was accusing me of gender discrimination ?????? Really ??? I know we are in The Valley , and she probably gets that a lot , but I'm from Spain , I just moved here a few years ago ... I do not have that mentality as some men do ... Her attitude and assumptions were terrible !!! I paid my $107 for the Xray and left , told the receptionist that never have I seen this kind of an attitude in my life ! Everyone here stops and listens to your concerns with a smile. The kids are treated as individuals and they really like that. Dr. Ocampo is very patient and doesn't rush you when you try to explain what is going on with your child. He explains very well and gives his honest opinion for treatments that should or could or shouldn't be done. I appreciate this since many places just treated us like a transaction before. Appointments are always timely so you're never waiting around for very long with a lot of people.
