Great hand car wash in the Pearland area. They have many options and price points. Make sure to…read moreunderstand what you really need as they will try to upsell you for sure if you're not careful. I got it right as they opened on a Saturday but there were already several people here waiting in line. If you plan on getting the Super Clean level just plan on being here for at least 90 minutes. They have lots of indoor and outdoor seating. So bring a good book or a pair of headphones to listen to something to kill time! Bring a snack too! There isn't really a place to eat in walking distance. I'll be back for sure as they do a good job and it's worth the time and money so long as you get here early enough.

Last week, I took my less than a year-old vehicle to Blaque's Hand Car Wash. They have two…read morelocations -- 1410 S Dairy Ashford Rd in Houston and the one I visited at 1980 Country Place Parkway in Pearland. When I arrived, I specifically asked the employee working on my car to make sure the grill area was cleaned. Based on the wash package I selected, the only substances that should have been used were standard car wash soap and tire shine. Nothing more. My vehicle remained parked in my driveway afterward -- covered, untouched, and never driven. A couple of days later, I noticed white spotting around the front grill and vents. It also looked like some type of spray or chemical had been applied to that area, which was extremely concerning considering I never authorized anything beyond a standard wash. My husband returned to the car wash to address the issue. The first employee immediately offered a few free car washes -- which made it pretty clear they knew something wasn't right. That wasn't acceptable, so he spoke with the owner, Jodie. Instead of taking accountability, Jodie immediately went into excuses, saying he's been using the "same supplies for 5 years." That response was unsettling because it had nothing to do with what actually happened. You can use the same materials for years, but that doesn't change the fact that this time they caused damage. We followed up with the owner to request prompt communication so we could move forward, the situation got even worse. I suddenly found myself dealing with an immature individual claiming he felt "threatened." There was no threat -- he was simply being informed that if he couldn't operate professionally and fix the damage his business caused, I would contact my insurance. That is a normal, reasonable step any adult vehicle owner would take. A day later, we received a text stating they were "not liable," doubling down on the excuse that since they've "always used the same materials," nothing could be their fault. He also tried to claim spraying my grill was part of the service, but if that's true, why weren't the rear panels sprayed? On top of that, he oddly offered to "refer me to a shop," which made the situation feel even more questionable. My insurance claim is already filed, and everything will be handled properly through them. But I felt it was important to share my experience with Blaque's Hand Car Wash -- a clear lack of accountability, unprofessional communication, and an owner who seems more interested in avoiding responsibility than running a business with integrity. I wish I had read the reviews beforehand, because now I see a pattern of similar issues and unprofessional behavior. Learn from my experience and take your vehicle elsewhere. And if you do end up with damage from this business, contact your insurance right away. Comprehensive coverage will handle the repairs, and your insurer will pursue reimbursement from the owner or their liability carrier. Unfortunately, you have to at least give 1 star, but 0 would be my preference.
