Not many stores have the monster hydrating water, which is really good and supposed to provide energy. There is a sign on the door requires a mask, although this isn't enforced as other people entered the store without one. I find this is common at most, if not all, gas stations. The cashier was not always wearing a mask. We did put it on before I arrived to the register, which was good. I don't come here frequently. I just stopped here while carrying out work duties in the field.

I went inside and saw the men's room had been recently moped, trash emptied, and overall was very clean. I proceed to one of the several touch screens they have to pick and customize exactly what you want to eat. I ordered a chicken caesar wrap with a small side of French fries. Even though there was a constant stream of people in and out of the store there was barely a line to wait in to check out. The clerk was very friendly and got me through the line quickly. The wait for my food was only about 5 minutes even though there were 3 orders ahead of me. I grabbed my stuff and went to eat. Not surprised at all, the fries tasted hot and fresh. In my opinion some of the best fast food fries in the industry. You can tell by the taste of the fries that they oil is likely changed regularly, or at least was changed recently. The wrap and it's contents also seemed to be very fresh. The lettuce was nice and green, croutons were crunchy and the chicken was juicy. I requested jalapeños and red onion on it as well which were plentiful, but not overwhelming, and dispersed evenly throughout the wrap. Not a single complaint from me for this location and I'll definitely stop in again for lunch next time I'm around.

It's not the cleanest place but they try to maintain it fairly nice. Food is ordered at a kiosk and then you pay at the register. I do t understand why you can't just pay at the kiosk with a card. Something they need to work on. They have lots of healthy and unhealthy pick and go snacks. As well as a self serve coffee and soda area. There are some good hot food specials and combos. Their curly fries are the best, really seasoned perfectly. I got a meatball sub with provolone, bannana peppers and jalapenos. Got a good amount of those but could have used some more cheese. Meatballs were not bad for a gas station, just not hot enough. The bread was way too thick for my liking and took away from the rest of the sandwich, but hey, it's gas station grub so I wasn't expecting that much. Overall it's ok if you're in a hurry and you want to kill two birds with one stone! Check them out, you may or may not be disappointed!

Now I've reached the point where the gas savings just isn't worth it and I may just drop the Sheetz card and begin getting gas elsewhere. The last 4-6 times I've pumped gas here, I have been accosted -at the pump- by people asking for free stuff (gas, money, etc). The last time this happened I was verbally abused because I refused. This location has always been dirty, which is a little understandable due to the number of customers. But what drew me to Sheetz in the first place was the cleanliness and modern offerings. If you go to some other Sheetz locations, they are nice, clean, and have everything a traveler would need. Maybe it's just me, but as a business owner, I would take some of those profits and make sure the business reputation is intact. This location is a dump, and as a customer, you also get the benefit of being berated by panhandlers and scammers. What's the upside of customers suffering through this experience? A few cents off of a gallon of gas? Doesn't seem worth it.

In fact they practically built a new store. Basically gutted the old building. 99% of this is all new. The store is larger. Everything new. Restrooms are clean. There is little offered here that even remotely approaches dietic - most meats are fried (and well fried), the only sides are Wedged Potatoes (yean, fried), and Mac & Cheese - no salads, or greens, or such. I would much rather someone strike up a conversation than act like a robot. I've never had the food from their little grill thingy, but I see people eating from it all the time.
