I went inside and saw the men's room had been recently moped, trash emptied, and overall was very clean. I proceed to one of the several touch screens they have to pick and customize exactly what you want to eat. I ordered a chicken caesar wrap with a small side of French fries. Even though there was a constant stream of people in and out of the store there was barely a line to wait in to check out. The clerk was very friendly and got me through the line quickly. The wait for my food was only about 5 minutes even though there were 3 orders ahead of me. I grabbed my stuff and went to eat. Not surprised at all, the fries tasted hot and fresh. In my opinion some of the best fast food fries in the industry. You can tell by the taste of the fries that they oil is likely changed regularly, or at least was changed recently. The wrap and it's contents also seemed to be very fresh. The lettuce was nice and green, croutons were crunchy and the chicken was juicy. I requested jalapeños and red onion on it as well which were plentiful, but not overwhelming, and dispersed evenly throughout the wrap. Not a single complaint from me for this location and I'll definitely stop in again for lunch next time I'm around.

They are also one of the few stations in town that offer the flex fuel which is way cheaper. The gas station does have a lot of snacks and food options inside. It's not the cleanest place but they try to maintain it fairly nice. Food is ordered at a kiosk and then you pay at the register. I do t understand why you can't just pay at the kiosk with a card. Something they need to work on. They have lots of healthy and unhealthy pick and go snacks. As well as a self serve coffee and soda area. There are some good hot food specials and combos. Their curly fries are the best, really seasoned perfectly. I got a meatball sub with provolone, bannana peppers and jalapenos. Got a good amount of those but could have used some more cheese. Meatballs were not bad for a gas station, just not hot enough. The bread was way too thick for my liking and took away from the rest of the sandwich, but hey, it's gas station grub so I wasn't expecting that much. Overall it's ok if you're in a hurry and you want to kill two birds with one stone! Check them out, you may or may not be disappointed!

I've had the fried chicken here and it is quite good, much like the Krispy Krunchy brand. But today I just wanted a hot dog and a cheeseburger. The burger is cooked to order so it took 10 minutes or so to get my order. The hot dog, with mustard, chili, and onion was very nice, not quite at the level of the very best in the area, but for $2.69 this is a real value, most in the area are between $3 and 4$! The cheeseburger was also nice, and at $6.90 it is not a real value, especially when compared with the Wakeburger which has double the cheese and meat for $1 more - didn't see this until later! I recently stopped at the station to fill up, and when I went inside I immediately notice the small grill area, with a cafeteria/steam table setup. They offer a limited number of entree items (plates or just the meats) including: Fried Chicken (1/4 with a Potato Wedges for $4.99), Fried Flounder (plate with 2 pieces of fish & Wedges for $5.99), Fried Chicken Liver (a small order, no side, $2.49), Fried Chicken Gizzards, Chicken BBQ, Buffalo Wings, Fried Chicken Drumettes, and even Corn Dogs. There is little offered here that even remotely approaches dietic - most meats are fried (and well fried), the only sides are Wedged Potatoes (yean, fried), and Mac & Cheese - no salads, or greens, or such. The Fried Chicken was excellent - well fried, well-seasoned. The Fried Flounder was no different. The small order of excellent Fried Chicken Livers was huge - a total bargain. The portion for the Wedged Potatoes is also large, and they are very, very good. If you want a tasty, inexpensive, takeout lunch, and calories are not a concern - this is a place you should consider. The fried food is very, very good, the prices are great, and the folks here are nice.

I normally pay at the pump with credit, but the times I've gone inside to pay with cash I've enjoyed the clerks. Smiling and joking around is cool for me. I would much rather someone strike up a conversation than act like a robot. I've never had the food from their little grill thingy, but I see people eating from it all the time. Looks mostly like fried food, which I try to stay away from. And gas station food in general. Sorry I'm not sorry.

On the evening of Jan. 24 I stopped at this store to get some gas. I prepaid $55 in cash at the register, but it only took $30 to fill up my tank. After a long night at work, I was so tired that I forgot to go back in to get the rest of my money ($25). When I was halfway home I realized I had forgotten the rest of my money and I immediately turned around to go back and get it. When I got there I was told by the cashier and the manager on duty at that time (lady with the short red hair) what had happened. She politely explained to me that she couldn't give me back my money at that moment because they were in a shift change and they would be short money if they took it out of the cash drawer at the moment, but if I came back the next morning they would give it back to me. She was very nice and recognized me as a regular customer. So I came back this morning (Jan. 25). I started to be explain to the young lady behind the register my story and before I was even halfway finished a lady from the back yelled out at "Nobody told me anything about that and that's all on you!" She continued with, "We cant do anything for you!" Despite being amazed at the way she was speaking to me, I calmly began to tell her that the manager last night told me that if I came back in the morning they could give me back the rest of my money. She angrily said "She can't do anything for you either!" I tried one last time by asking if she would be back later today so I could speak to her about it since she was the original manager I talked to. This lady yelled at me "No! This is MY store! MY STORE! I'm in charge here! As someone who works in customer service, I can say that this lady who claimed to be a manager this morning was VERY rude and unprofessional. She should not be in a management position. If she had just politely talked to me like the red haired lady from last night did and told me she couldnt refund me cash but could compensate me with maybe a complimentary drink or a discount on a snack (I usually buy their Krispy Kreme doughnuts and an energy drink) I would have been fine with that. But instead she spoke to me as if I was I was trying steal money from the store. If the training team or the owner is reading this I want you to know that as frequent customer of this store I do not appreciate the way this manager spoke to me this morning and I don't feel comfortable coming in to this store now. Is this the way you want your staff (particularly management) to speak to customers?? I would highly suggest that this lady, whoever she is, receive some kind of disciplinary action, before she rudely speaks to another customer like this again.
