Extremely disappointed and frustrated with Lorenzo ( the owner) I will be filing a complaint with the Board of a contractors. He has done work for us before and it wasn't perfect but we let it slide because he appeared to be a nice guy trying to make ends meet for his family. He did a lot of work for us and we sent him to both our parents homes to do work as well. I even referred him to several friends. At the beginning of the year we hired him to landscape our pool area. We discussed the project in detail many many times. He wrote a contract and everything to be done was specified. First, let me say that the majority of the work was not done by him but an elderly man. They laid Decomposed granite in all the areas they put it, the weed barrier is sticking through. The reason I'm writing this is we agreed upon an area that was to be completely level and flat ( for cornhole game) in that area we asked for 2-3 very large red rock boulders. I asked him if he wanted to put them in before the fence went in and he said no "we will do that last" well once everything was complete ( except the boulders) he told me that the place he gets them doesn't have big enough ones so it would be a few days before it was done. I PAID HIM IN FULL with the understanding that he would be back in a couple days ( my mistake) I trusted him! Needless to Say it's been almost a month. He has excuse after excuse. Every time I contact him he says "I'll be there this week" he never shows. Then he said he has no way to get them and isn't sure how they will get over the fence. Finally my husbands says" just bring them and we will get a tractor and figure it out" once again he says, "ok, I'll be there this week" still did not show or reach out at all. DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY. HE IS NOT THE HONEST CHRISTIAN MAN HE PORTRAYS HIMSELF TO BE. I wish I would have seen these reviews sooner. It would have saved a lot of anxiety and frustration. read more

Mr. Reyes comes across as very conscientious and honest. We paid $4750 for ground to be tilled, rough leveled, and grass to be seeded on approximately 1/2 acre. Mr. Reyes told us he would be adding top soil. Instead we received a yard full of rock and sand. This was supposed to be a sports field for grand-kids and a smooth level field for dog agility training. There were so many rocks that we removed as many as we could, and he did have workers remove some more, but is still too rocky for the purpose intended. He insisted on all payments up front. Our bad: we trusted him. Never pay him up front. Better yet, find someone else. We watered this area that was supposedly seeded with two kinds of grass seed for 6 weeks. No grass ever came up. Now, we are out $4750 and have a field of weeds. read more

Long story short we filed charges against him through Arizona Registrar of Contractors, won our case in county court, and have been awarded restitution. This guy is a scam artist who is now on probation for contracting without a license. Run from him and warn every friend and neighbor to do the same. We contracted with them to cut through our driveway to improve drainage. This was done to our satisfaction. However, metal grates were to be installed over the cut, so that we could get our vehicles in and out of the driveway. Only 3/4 of the grates were installed. We still have huge holes on each side, and you have to carefully aim the car, or it falls in the holes. I paid them, and they had promised to bring the rest of the grates the very next day. It's been over a year now, and no grates. we have called and called and called. THEY NEVER FINISHED THE JOB. Do NOT use these people. read more

Stay the hell away from this company! Hired for irrigation install- 30+ leaks discovered right after install. Lorenzo Reyes, owner, was asked to repair the first week it was installed. Four weeks passed before he returned to attempt repairs. Reyes became angry hostile and belligerent when wife of homeowner pointed out leaks and told Reyes he was responsible for all mistakes made. He then refused to listen or speak with "a woman" demanding only to speak with "the man" on site. Reyes was also hired to install fence with a concrete block base perimeter No mortar was placed between blocks, cracks were visible between blocks, blocks were filled with dirt to skimp on concrete, and then capped with a thin layer of concrete which did not hold up. The only panel sections of fence boarding completed were done sloppily and incorrectly, using small nails instead of treated screws, and using only two horizontal framing boards instead of three, and did not space the existing horizontal boards 6" below top, nor 6" above base. Reyes would drop off non-English speaking workers who were unable to understand English and leave the job site. He and workers arrived late (10:00 am to 12:30pm) and workers were left unsupervised. Reyes not only did not complete repairs to our irrigation system (after giving his "word of honor"), he deliberately opened up the two main lines of the irrigation system and left it unuseable to homeowner. He also left large pieces of concrete debris behind from the old fence posts, though he was asked for four weeks to remove it. This guy is a con who whines he is losing money on the job he bid for you, whines to homeowner he can't pay his workers, and whines about all his personal troubles (self created)! Told us the concrete laborer "Dominguez" had to go to Mexico and pulled him from our job that was incomplete, then posted on FB a picture of the guy working on a different job. When confronted with bad work done by his crew (because he never supervises anyone) he gets sullen, angry, and belligerent. Is also DBA Reyes Yard Granite Dells, and as Lorenzo Reyes may be operating under a fictitious name. His true name may be "Jesus Santiago Reyes", and he may also use last name of Gonzalez. Works throughout Verde Valley And Sedona areas. Be warned...stay away from this company, and warn others (especially seniors) to do the same.
