Bob provided estimate (pricey but worth it, licensed/insured/bonded), he got previous approval from neighbor for access and arrived early to go over job with Ramiro and team. Ramiro and team performed aggressive side trims to 4- 30ft plus trees for insurance purposes and removed dead branches out of other trees. They arrived on time, completed their tasks, in a timely fashion, were open and receptive to our specific requests, cut/stacked wood for fire, chipped, raked, blew, cleaned up and left property better than when they arrived. We had a massive sycamore tree (100 feet tall) next to our house and after consultation with three certified arborists we realized that it had to be removed. Robert from Bob's Tree Service walked us thru the process and we knew what to expect. The crew were always on time, very hard-working and very respectful of our property. Ramiro has remarkable skills, and was able to remove the huge dead branches that were directly over our house with virtually no problems. The stump grind and clean-up were impressive as well. We reviewed, made small adjustments but hardly any, and had the work done. The crew was great, friendly and professional, with concern to make us happy. They did the work in 12 days, which included working during an unexpected snowstorm. They worked in an effort to not inconvenience us, or our neighbors as much as possible. I did not have them work on my yard, however I did receive a outrageous quote. I called to get a quote to remove 4 cottonwood trees. They came out. They were nice and professional. But he quoted me almost 40k. That's 10k per tree. And 18k if I were to just do 2 trees. I waited to receive quotes from other companies to see what the best deal was. Every other company quoted me around 3k per tree and 12k for 4. So yeah i didn't go with them. I'm not sure how they get their numbers but it's not worth even having them come out. We asked for a retaining wall, but got a garden wall, and when we complained, Will was rude and defensive. Not the professional we had expected, but they did redo the wall. The footing was not tamped, compacted, but just loose dirt. Hope it lasts. Would not recomend. read more

I have used Bob's Tree and Landscaping in the past, and I'll admit they are responsive and thorough. BUT they are pricey! The last time I called them for a quote, it was to remove a 18' dead Italian Cypress. I thought the quote was high, but as it was at an occupied rental property in Sedona so I went with it. The last time I called for a quote, it was to remove a large pine tree branch that had partially crashed down due to recent heavy snow. Bob's quoted $950; a competing local tree service company quoted $650, but they were able to complete the job for $550. A BIG difference.... read more

I asked them to remove 4 or 5 young trees from my yard. They quoted me $200.00; I thought that was fair. Get this, they sawed every little tree off at the trunk, leaving the roots in the ground. What a joke! read more

We are very impressed. We have a large yard to fence in and it was almost impossible to get bids from fence companies. Will, on the other hand, showed up when he said he would and then, get this Sedona people, he FOLLOWED UP!!
