He took the time during my initial consultation to understand my overall needs and to be honest, he went above and beyond from what I asked of him. To elaborate a little more on this, he took the initiative to paint a ceiling and entry hallway that were never in the original quote. In one of my rooms the ceiling had left over paint (I failed to touch up when I originally painted it) and he took the initiative to not only touch up the ceiling but paint the complete ceiling to avoid a variance of color. My entry hallway, was a slight color difference and he painted the hallway to not have this slight color difference. Rick originally told me the project would take approximately 4 days, and it took them exactly 4 days. He asked me to do a final walk through once the project was complete to ensure everything was satisfactory prior to receiving final payment and everything was great! Last thing that life made easier for me, they worked around my home furniture and removed/replaced TV mounts, stands, curtain rods for me. Bottom line, I could not be more grateful to have found such an incredible painter that I can count on in the future. He quoted $2,000 total and promised to finish in one week. I paid a 50% deposit of $1,000. Shortly after starting, he requested another $400. Despite receiving $1,400, he completed less than half the work. He then stopped showing up, offered constant excuses, and eventually ignored all my calls and texts. I officially stopped contacting him on May 9, 2026, and had to hire someone else to finish the job. I used him ten years ago and he did great work, but his standards and reliability have completely dropped. He deserves zero stars. Avoid this contractor to save your time and money.
