I worked with a woman named Sharon, she has no clue how to speak to people let alone people grieving over a loved one passing away. Not to mention the fact it was difficult for her to answer any of my questions, she got up while I was speaking and walked out of the room. They were not a place I would trust with my family and certainly not someone that was called on my behalf. They took it upon themselves to take over without any authorization and when I mention that to Sharon she told me to file a claim with the state and it was not her problem. Needless to say I called several other homes in the area and they have had similar complaints about them. I was so grateful to the Funeral Home I went with 20 minutes away. All I can say is run far from this place and don't give yourself extra stress (especially when you're trying to cope with the grief) dealing with these people.

I called Auclairs at first but was made to feel like a bother, a number, a nuisance in fact. I immediately decided to look elsewhere and came across Boule Funeral Home. Owners Tom and Wendy bent over backwards to help me and my handicapped mother. They helped us to save every penny possible and they clearly were not looking to take financial advantage of a grieving family, something I've always feared. We're not wealthy and they made sure we weren't given options that only wealthy families could afford. Tom and Wendy are compassionate, available, connected, and have kind hearts. At one point I had asked to sit with dad before the funeral. I was welcomed to sit there and hold his hand, tears overflowing, until I had all the closure that I needed to move forward- As a nurse, I often get approached by folks who tell me that I have changed their lives in one way or another- that's how I felt with Boule. Normally, I would not think to review, however after having recently had 2 funerals in 2 years at Boule's I feel the need to leave some feedback. Tom is an absolutely astounding human being. In 2017, my family lost my 16 year old sister to health complications. The loss was sudden and left us in an extremely hard place financially, emotionally and mentally. A friend of ours drove my mom to Boule's to speak with Tom. Upon hearing the story of my sister's life and how dedicated my mother was to her, Tom decided to be patient and work out whatever he could to help us give her the services she deserved without feeling pressured to think about the money right away. He was just absolutely kind, I have no words to describe it. More recently, two weeks ago, I lost a childhood best friend. His mom decided to go with Boule. Again, I saw Tom and he remembered my family despite it being two years. He asked questions and was genuinely interested in knowing how we were doing. He and his team did an amazing job with giving my friend one last send off. He even allowed us closer friends to stay an extra 30 minutes because he knew we were having a rough time. My friend was 28, we're all a bunch of "kids" who didn't expect this so suddenly. Again, Tom understanding as always was patient and kind with us and the family. *****Overall, I highly recommend going with this home. These people genuinely care for you, your family and your feelings. They aren't after the money.

Can't give 5* to a cemetery where the love of my life is buried. But, as cemeteries go: this one is…read morejust off of Cooke Road on Edgartown, and his resting place for the past 9 years is on a tranquil grassy hill. Its the "newer" of the two cemeteries with same name: only dates back to the 1700's Both are historic and many notable people have been lain to rest there. The "original" is at capacity, and this was close to it at time of plot purchase. It is also close to the Volunteer Fire Department, so his best friend can visit when he chooses. It was the best choice during a difficult time. The water where we spent so many blissful times is a short walk away; when the trees shed their leaves in fall/winter you can see it. The Island carries so many beautiful memories for us, this "last" one is difficult to this day; and imagine it will be until I take my last breath. If there was a place my beloved would have chosen to rest, I'm sure it would be here. Just like on Pesach, I often leave a place or a drink for him during special occasions. My heart's greatest wish is that we will be reunited, somehow at another time and place beyond my comprehension. Until then, know that you are remembered, loved and missed: not just on 26 April, but daily. I talked to them while I was away and was going to pick her up on Tuesday my day off. Well I had to work so I called them on Monday and told them and asked if Wednesday would be ok. I was told no problem what time do I think I'll be there. I said about 12:00. My mom lived a little over 2 hours away. I get there and I tell the woman she said ok one minute. Then a man comes out and long story short she was not even done. She was on the books for that day. (Really) why couldn't they tell me this before I made the trip.

First the Hospital misplaced my father the day of passing and I was truly upset. The staff at the crematorium called the hospital, found Daddy and set up a viewing (for ID) the same day they picked him up. I was able to complete the paperwork that day and this was such a relief. The young lady who helped me was Lacey and she was amazing!! The level of compassion and guidance from all the staff was of extraordinary. I was so lost at the steps on how to handle the sudden passing of my Father however the whole team was right there for support and all of my questions. Thank you to everyone involved!! I absolutely would recommend using their services. They are also very cost effective and reasonable.
