I always come in with my flowers to the funeral home and I always make a meal for the family for after the week they are very accommodating about putting it in the refrigerator if it's a cool meal or on the in the kitchen if it's hot meal and making sure the family I was accommodated when it's over. This time they had chocolates in the entryway where people sat and relaxed and talked with other family members etc. like a calling type room they had boxes of chocolates which are apparently the deceased favorite. I thought that was extremely thoughtful thing to do.

There are simply no words that could ever fully express our family's gratitude for Lilly Darling…read more Over the past few months, our family experienced the unimaginable, we lost two loved ones, one in April and another in June. To have to walk through that kind of heartbreak twice in such a short period of time is something no family ever expects. Through it all, Lilly became so much more than a funeral director. She became a source of comfort, strength, guidance, and genuine love during the darkest moments of our lives. From the very first meeting, Lilly treated our family as if we were her own. She carried us through every step of the process with incredible kindness, compassion, patience, and grace. Every detail was handled with such care and professionalism that we never had to worry about whether something had been overlooked. She anticipated our needs before we even knew what to ask, offered thoughtful advice when we felt lost, and communicated with us every step of the way. In the middle of overwhelming grief, she gave us peace of mind. What touched us most and something our family will never forget is that Lilly was actually on vacation during one of our funerals. Most people would have understandably stepped away, but not Lilly. She made sure she was there for us anyway. That speaks volumes about the kind of person she is. She didn't see us as just another family she was helping, she genuinely cared. Knowing that she chose to be there for us, despite being on her own personal time, meant more than words can express. It made us feel seen, supported, and deeply cared for during one of the hardest days of our lives. Lilly has a rare gift. She combines extraordinary professionalism with an even more extraordinary heart. She showed our loved ones the dignity and respect they deserved and showed our family endless compassion at a time when we could barely function. She cried with us, encouraged us, celebrated the lives of our loved ones with us, and somehow made an impossible process feel a little less heavy. By the end of these past few months, Lilly no longer felt like someone we met through tragedy she truly felt like part of our family. We will always remember her kindness, generosity, unwavering support, attention to detail, and the love she poured into helping us honor the people we lost. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you, Lilly. We will never forget everything you did for us. Cartwright Funeral Home is incredibly fortunate to have someone as exceptional as you. Anyone who has Lilly by their side during one of life's most difficult moments will be receiving the very best care imaginable.

Based on our experience, I would not recommend Cartwright Funeral Home.

They consistently go above and beyond to ensure your family is supported in ways you may not have even considered. Tim and his team are nothing short of amazing. During each of these heartbreaking times, he took care of everything for me with unmatched professionalism and kindness. He regularly checked in on us, offered thoughtful advice and support, and, most importantly, showed genuine love and care. For Tim, this isn't just a job--it's clearly a calling, and it shines through in everything he does. I can't recommend Dyer Lake Funeral Home, Tim, and his incredible team more highly. They have become like family to us, and I would never consider using anyone else for my loved ones. Thank you, Tim, for everything you've done. I was recently notified what they did to a family member, so I looked things over. I thought this place was great, UNTIL I realized they charged us for things not legal, not purchased, and not disclosed! I called the crematory, medical examiners in 2 different states, and the insurance company. They informed me of the REAL prices, the LAW, and how Dyer-Lake used our money to fund their own interests without disclosing it. It wasn't theirs to use! To this date, they have refunded 4 checks, admitting guilt, returning (dragging it out slowly) almost what they owed us, but not fully. They refuse to refund us for merchandise we never bought. They refuse to itemize the bill. They refuse to tell us what "basic professional services" cover, since we never had a "service", and so many other fees were charged on top of basic...things like transportation, storage, paperwork, drivers, removal of pacemaker, ect. They charged us for 2 medical examiners in 2 different states. One owner said it was the LAW because the person died in one state and was buried in another. The other owner said that was a mistake. BUT they did it twice! 16 months apart! Once, it "might" be a mistake, but twice is how they run their business until you catch them. I could describe each thing, but the checks are proof enough.. BE WARY and do your homework! A smile, a hug, and making you feel like and old friend means nothing when you find out the truth. Its disgusting and deceitful to do this. Its been SIX MONTHS and they still owe us for one more thing.

While these were some of the most difficult days of our lives, the compassion, professionalism, and exceptional care we received from everyone at Farley made an immeasurable difference. From the very beginning, Mark, Kelsey, and Jeff were incredible. They met with us promptly, handled every detail with kindness and efficiency, and made what could have been an overwhelming process feel seamless. From bringing my father from the hospital to the funeral home, preparing him with such dignity and presenting him beautifully, to guiding us through selecting a casket and explaining all of the available services, every step was handled with genuine compassion and care. During both the wake and funeral, Johnny Vasconcelos went above and beyond for our family. He anticipated every need, ensured everything ran smoothly, and offered such comfort during an incredibly emotional time. His heartfelt prayers at the close of the wake and his assistance to Mark throughout the funeral service brought peace and comfort to everyone in attendance. Every member of the Farley Funeral Home team treated our loved ones with the utmost respect and our family with extraordinary kindness. Although we wish we never had to rely on their services, we are deeply grateful for the care they provided. Their professionalism, attention to detail, and heartfelt compassion made an unforgettable impact during one of the hardest times in our lives. We will never forget it. Thank you to Mark, Kelsey, Jeff, Johnny, and the entire Farley Funeral Home staff for helping us honor our fathers with such dignity, grace, and love.
