Between this and the gummis shops, she makes me bring an extra suitcase just to go shopping here. Even as someone who doesn't care for absinthe, this shop is pretty damned impressive. When you walk in the first thing you'll notice is how cramped it is. Imagine a bodega in New York City, but then imagine they cramp two bodegas into the space of one and that's how tight this place is. There is definitely a lot of food, snacks, etc. to choose from but that's about where the positives stop. After hunting for some water we had a hard time even maneuvering back through to the cold case because it was so tight with people. Overall we got what we came for, but it was not a pleasant experience, and it was pretty dirty overall too. This place exists for convenience and convenience alone. If you aren't in need of something it might be worth the wait to find something easier to navigate.

Good places to eat once you've picked up your groceries: a nice park for children directly across the street; Philosopher's Way - just a short walk up a steep hill!; Neckar river - just a few blocks away.
