I've used this service and was somewhat happy with the results (not perfect but after 20 years in…read morethe business I don't expect perfect), I am totally not happy with the service.. They send out a photographer to photograph homes in preparation of selling. Sounds simple enough but they have found a way to make it complicated. They won't call the client to book the appointment, they want you to call. So you call the client and get a time and you call Leading Image to book it, then they say they are booked at that time and that time is not good, so they give you a couple of other times that does work for them. You call the client back and ask them if these times are ok, client says no, they will be at the cottage for the week returning friday. So the client gives you another time and you call back to Leading Image. Leading Image says no, they don't work weekends. So you have to call the client back to reschedule again. By this time your client is starting to question your professionalism. I asked Leading Image to please call the client direct and set up an appointment that is good for both of them. The time really doesn't matter to me. They refuse because if they set it up with the client and then the client cancels at the last minute they will be out the $25 cancelation fee. I told them they can build the cancelation fee into my fee, I really don't mind about $25, I just want the work done. They will have no part of it. They are very unprofessional in their approach, they also prefer not to talk to you but to do everything by email which again makes it frustrating and difficult. For this reason (and many other reasons) I would not use Leading Image again. I tried twice with two different clients and it was a nightmare. I went back to my original photography company Obeo, they are reliable and been around for a while and understand customer care. Not perfect but perfect is not something you can expect in this industry. I would love to find a company that instead of being the cheapest, they would be the best and if they have to charge more for it so be it. As you can see by the comment below, they defend themselves at my expense. I guess I am a liar and what happened was only in my mind. If I am the client in their mind then they really should try to make my job easier and more professional. They haven't a clue how to treat a client or who the "client" is. The client is the one actually paying the bill and that is not me. The client is the homeowner. I won't use this service again.

Each of them has their strengths, whether it be photography, video, editing or even a special knack for getting those rare shots from little kids that make family and friends say "awwww", and are an integral part in covering your day or event. I've long admired the work of Visions By David, but assumed that with their level of experience and time in the business that we'd never be able to afford their services when the day came for our special day. Still when it came time to begin having conversations with photographers for our destination wedding in PDC, Mexico we reached out to them anyway to see what, if anything was possible. Meeting with David and Marianne was like meeting with old friends right from the get go, David is the artist and Marianne his director (well sort of, but aren't all wives their husbands directors, haha). We felt super comfortable with them from the get go and when we expressed our concerns about budgets and the like, the told us not to worry and that they would work within our budgets and produce something extra special and memorable. We decided on a photo and video package for the wedding, and in addition to their fees we paid for the travel of 3 team members. While this might sound like a lot, having the team there 24/7 was great as most photographers you would hire for a wedding in Mexico as we found would charge nearly the same but for 4-5 hours of work on the day of - and you have no in person contact with them before arriving on location. They were true professionals, upon arrival they got to work, walking every square inch of the resort (and off) to find ideal locations and then measuring the lighting days in advance at different times of day so they knew exactly what sort of situations they would be dealing with and where would be best for us to get the best pictures. Where their experience showed was in helping us organize our day of photos so that we were able to maximize every instant and capture it all. They planned a full day where they were able to get the guys getting ready and having some fun while the ladies were getting their hair and make up done, then transferring over to the ladies and the eventual first look and group shots before the ceremony and reception. The benefit of having the team there is they all knew what to look for and if a hand or head was misplaced, or people weren't lining up properly you had not 1 but 4 sets of eyes calling details out to ensure every picture was picture perfect. In addition to our wedding, we also planned to do an offsite shoot at a cenote (naturally occurring cave with water in it). Because of their time in the business they knew who to talk to and where to go to ensure this experience was private, special and amazing. While the video does take a bit longer to get done, it should be arriving soon but if it's anything like the pictures we have (over 1000 awesome shots) I know we'll be able to relive the magic of our wedding day for years and years to come. When I entered the chamber on my wedding day, they were nowhere to be found. Then I realized that the worst that can happen to a wedding for people just happened to me. I had no time to find another company to replace them. I was literally outrageous. I contacted them after my wedding, they said they FORGOT!!! Can you believe that? If you do not want your most special moment in life to be ruined, never ever find them. No matter how they confirm they will be there, you are taking the risk that you will not have your wedding video at all.

We were looking for candid moments captured and key moments documented. We were pleased that Yang was there to coordinate the entire day's filming with his second shooter, Chester. Yang was there to meet us for the first time and show us some of the company's work. We know that all members of the team were very professional and had the same shooting style. The editing for all their sample videos were consistent and it was exactly what we were looking for. Our highlight video and raw videos were ready a month and a half later. The highlight video was beautifully edited. It is amazing how they can find the best clips out of the entire day's recordings and manage to put it together in such a short clip. They were very professional, on time, and always tried to get the best footage (even if it means staying out in the heat and lugging around such heavy equipment to do so). For us, one of the most important parts of choosing a vendor was responsiveness - you can have all the Wedding Bells Glitterati badges on your website all you want, but if you take 10 days to respond to client questions, I wouldn't feel comfortable hiring you as a vendor. In short, while we didn't end up going with Martin as our videographer (we ended up going with a company that a friend had worked with in the past), MGX/Martin was our very close second choice for very easily the following reasons: a) he's extremely reliable, b) he's very responsive, helpful, answers your questions quickly and puts your fears at ease, c) he's flexible, d) his work is professional and beautiful (check out his portfolio on his website). He also provides you with more samples of his work when you meet. We weren't looking for anything too fancy - literally, we only wanted a 5 minute highlight video and a same-day edit. Martin was very accommodating of all our requests and really took the time to understand our day and what we wanted - he is definitely an ideal vendor for your wedding or special event, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him!
