They also sell trailers etc. On the first floor is the bike section. There is a great selection of bikes. The guys are extremely helpful. They even offer a service to assemble any bikes that you buy. They also offer a facility for the bike to get serviced. More thought should have been given to the design of the store, as having a bike shop upstairs isn't really practical. Also outside the shop there are only a small number of parking spaces very close to the store, although there are hundreds in the retail park itself.

Several requests and never get a reply, bag I recieved ripped within 5 days of receiving it (in front of the staff) no offer for replacement. When I call about a potential warranty issue I get promised calls back that I never get. When I go in person I'm told emails must have went to spam. Funny how they never did when I was emailing about buying the bike! I was missing my keys for steering lock on purchase, was told not to worry they would drop them off at my house. Got fed up of waiting after several promises of days they'd come with them I just drove to the Manchester branch and picked them up myself. Manager said for inconvenience they'd give me a free t shirt... Which I never got. I bought the bike cash and several accessory since and I feel they have no respect for customers. I own other bikes that cost much less and dealers have been so much better. Do no reccomend.

They do free Winter Checks here, to make sure your care is prepared for winter. I noticed something in the winter and checks like oil, seem to help especially in the Winter. I did not get this done however. This store seems to be a specialist in bikes, As this isn't the biggest Halfords store, a good percentage of it must be on bikes. They even have a guarantee, that if you make a deposit they will find a bike right for you. On my recent visit here, I had to pick up some oil for my car, I still didn't understand why I couldn't use the Extra Virgin Olive Oil, I use to make Gluten Free Pizza bases. This branch of Halfords doesn't seem like the nicest store for layout and colour scheme, when you walk into PC World Currys for example it is like the layout is from a complete different decade, PC World Currys being better as you would expect from a store all things technology, but I don't think you would expect the store to be high up on cleanliness and looking nice for a store like this. I don't normally visit stores like this, so make of my opinion what you want but I don't feel this store deserves more than 2 stars. I am mainly dropping stars for the following reasons - The Layout, Cleanliness and colour schemes - The staff appeared to be messing about slightly, when they could of been helping customers - With a good percentage of the store specialising in biking, I would say Halfords need a slightly bigger store so they can fully specialise in all the areas the Company does such as Motoring, Biking and Travel Equipment.

So all in all: no complaints.
