Had the chance to "let" my 12 year old Monster-in-the-making secure submissions on his old man (me) at a 3 to 1 ratio (in his favor lol). It is pretty well known that BJJ just plain works. P.S.: I said "let" only because I agreed to get on the mat with him... I didn't "allow" him to get a submission until we had been at it (rolling) for about 20 min... and that was after five min of stretching and ten minutes of informal drills. He finally wore me out toward the end and got his last one (of 3, after I basically gave up, gassed out (yes I need to take better care of myself), but he got the first two righteously.
