Of course we had a younger audience which was a bit rambunctious but not too loud or disturbing. As soon as we were all in place, this lady came from out of no where and yelled at us telling us to get out of the alley way, the thing is she also yelled at us the adults. We did not appreciate the way she had handled the situation. She could have kindly asked us to step out of the alley way. Henceforth we did not bother to shop in her store. Bad costumer service and we didn't even have to shop.

The vendors change their stock regularly and there are always a few booths that have sales running anywhere from 15-30% which is appreciated. I have found some real gems here and rarely do I leave without picking up something at a bargain price. The staff is always kind and accommodating. Happened upon Remix Consignment via Instagram and once we scrolled through a few posts, we knew we…read moreneeded to make the drive to Murfreesboro for a look...and a hopeful haul. Remix Consignment sits just around the bend from the mall in a small 3 or 4 shop plaza. They have two entrances/exits, which make loading pretty easy. The space is one large room filled with sofas, tables, dining sets, dressers, art, candles, cutting boards and more. They are packed full of items, but it is still a well laid out and easily navigable space. They do have signs around stating that loading is all on you, however the fellas that were working were quick to offer their assistance when needed. Additionally, while they do not offer delivery, a few of them do it on the side and will happily make it happen. We came for a particular piece we saw online and lucky for us, they still had it in stock. We picked up a perfect industrial wood/metal piece that makes the perfect sideboard in our new home! And the price was not bad either! While we are new customers of theirs, apparently they drop prices on items every 30 days which is good to know in the event they ever have a piece that we want, but don't need just yet... Service was solid from entry to exit. They checked on us as we walked around, help us load and welcomed us back at check out. Overall, great spot for a solid furniture haul. We will continue to watch their IG and make our way out when something catches our eye!

A wonderful new addition to the Shelbyville square!…read more I was in town for Father's Day down from Nashville and was able to check out the new antique store in the old library. While I was there, I was able to meet one of the owners and their children who run the place. They were very nice and I told them how great it was to see the library repurposed in such a manner. We discussed the new shop and how they plan to get involved in the community, which I think is fantastic. They also introduced me to their pets. They have a big German Shepard, a Sulcata Tortoise, and an iguana. It's like a small zoo and antique store, two of my favorite things! Ha. The selection here is too notch. Everything is interesting, reasonably priced, and clean. I was able to find a small bag full of items and I could have found more if I wasn't rushed to get home. I plan on coming back when I am back in town visiting family and I really hope they do well. This town owes the new business owners for saving the old library and bringing a wonderful new shop to our little community.
