Had Storm Proof perform a full roof replacement on my Mom's 1950's vintage, large flat roof, which had been repaired and patched numerous times over the decades. After talking through in great detail (at my request), we decided to do a full replacement. Got the quote in April 2025, with work scheduled for June 2025, and as the date drew near, they provided updates and pivoted to work around the rain. That was in June 2025, and it's now December 2025 and couldn't be happier. I don't usually write reviews, but felt compelled to do so in this case, as they are really, really good. Matt communicates as appropriate, and responds to questions very promptly (and I asked a LOT of questions in the run up to the roof replacement). I would add that Matt remained communicative and responsive well after the roof replacement was done and they'd been paid. Again, I couldn't recommend more highly. This is how a business should be run. Thank you Storm Proof

So, we get to pay $250 to write this review and our driveway will remain incomplete for another year. I hear they do good work...hopefully your project is big enough to warrant their attention.

08/14/22 around 7pm…read more Driver of Action Roofing Services truck honked, swerved at and threatened me, all while yelling obscenities out his window at me while riding my bike. This occurred this evening as I was sitting at a red light on Spenard heading south, with one block to go before I was making a lefthand turn at the next block. I am on an e-bike, I wait to watch the light turn yellow, look left across Northern Lights, and with it being completely clear, I take off as the light is turning green (we're talking probably literally a second) as to give some space on the car behind me (NOT the Action Roofing truck - he was to my right and behind). I do this so that I can get up to speed for the car behind me and so that I can make my turn safely. I hear a honk behind me and think not much of it when the driver of an Action Roofing Services truck pulls up next to me honking, yet again, swerving towards me, all while yelling obscenities about how cyclists must follow the same rules of the road. My favorite line of his was that he told me he'd run me over with his truck. WTF? If you generally care about humans, being kind to one another, and have the slightest hint of empathy for cyclists, I would highly recommend you look elsewhere for roofing services. Update - With a pretty simple search of the web, this was absolutely the owner of Action Roofing Services, Doug Simpson. As a friendly reminder to all, don't be a jerk while driving a branded vehicle.

I am very grateful for AlasCo's professional crew and most specifically for Ed. I have had some horrible experiences with contractors in the past so it was wonderful to deal with a solid company. I am very satisfied with AlasCo and Ed from first contact to finished project. The total cost was so much lower than other quotes we got. For widow on a fixed income that was AWESOME! They will definitely be my go-to company if I should have need in the future. I have already referred them to some of my single gal friends!

There are gaps everywhere and the sales person didn't even have the integrity to come check it out and make it right. He said he was going to, but then didn't. They got their money and that's all they care about. I suggest using another company, but if you use them you should be onsite checking them as they go. As Alas-Co has stated in their response, I am not a professional insulation installer. They are correct, I'm not a professional, but I do know there shoudn't be uneven or missing spots, the spray foam shouldn't be separating from the walls and that they did not follow through on what I was told was going to be done. The project manager's "attempt" to make things better was to tell us over the phone that he was going to come inspect the project, but then he never actually came to inspect the project. As I stated at the beginning, one employee did do a very nice job and was very nice.
