Front desk staff was kind. Waiting room is really nice and the office is way better than I expected. The areas you get work in even had tvs it felt fancy. The lady who helped with my x rays and cleaning was awesome. The dentist who helped me was great. Everyone was in a great mood and was very kind and pretty. lol. They did a great analysis of my mouth and set me up to get work done. Everyone explained everything well too. I'm taking my daughter here next week for her first appt. First, I want to be clear that the dentist and the rest of the staff have been incredibly patient, kind, and understanding throughout a very difficult process for our family. My mother-in-law is currently going through the process of having all of her teeth removed, and she is also suffering from dementia and has recently lost the ability to walk. The dental team has been wonderful with her during a very emotional and challenging time. Unfortunately, the woman at the front desk--the first person you encounter when you walk in--showed a complete lack of compassion. I have been bringing my mother-in-law to appointments here week after week, so the staff has seen firsthand the struggle she's been going through. During our most recent visit, my mother-in-law accidentally took one hit from her vape while sitting in the waiting area. Because of her dementia, she genuinely forgot where she was. Instead of quietly or respectfully addressing it, the front desk woman loudly yelled across the room, "ARE YOU VAPING?" My mother-in-law looked embarrassed and immediately said, "Yes, I'm sorry." Rather than showing any understanding, the woman snapped back, "This is a dental office," and then continued giving US dirty looks for the remainder of the visit. When I wasn't even involved. Let me be clear: my mother-in-law knows not to vape in public. This was not someone being disrespectful--it was someone with dementia who momentarily forgot where she was and immediately apologized. Healthcare environments should show compassion, especially toward elderly patients and those struggling with neurological conditions. While the dentist and clinical staff have been wonderful, the treatment we received from the front desk that day was unnecessarily humiliating and lacked basic human kindness. I sincerely hope the office addresses this, because the rest of the team truly deserves better representation at the front desk.

When I finally said I would be finding a new dentist, there was no attempt to resolve the situation, apologize, or even acknowledge the inconvenience they had caused. They won't even stay in my mouth and they are so uncomfortable they give me major headaches. The dentist was booked but she made me a slot, asked me to be there 15 minutes early, very transparent that dentist is booked, and orthodontists doctor was in, very busy but they'll get me seen. She would be in a meeting but would come meet me after the meeting. When I arrived I was greeted by the orthodontist receptionist who was as sweet as can be, check in was easy. Even being "worked" in, I was called back before I finished filling out the paperwork, the hygienist was very sweet. Dr. Montgomery came in, looked at the tooth causing pain, immediately numbed me to get me out of pain, while I waited for X-rays, treatment plan, etc. The officer manager stopped in after her meeting to introduce herself, make sure everything was okay just as she told me on the phone. When Dr. Montgomery was ready he grabbed another hygienist, after he was done, I set up, sat on the chair for a little bit, hygienist didn't say anything I just watched her work on the computer, I removed the dental fabric, blanket, tried to talk to the hygienist who seemed rather cold/judgmental which causes more anxiety on someone who has a fear of then dentist and just wants to leave. I continued to sit there and listen to the repeated clicking, I asked to go to the front and she asked what for, to pay my bill, I thought to myself I have no clue what your doing over there. She told me no she had to finish, .. finish what? When I was brought to the front the treatment amount increased approx $42 for an exam that wasn't on the treatment I signed, I inquired why it wasn't on there, receptionist requested my file, new patient paperwork, there ended up being a second treatment with only the exam I believe on it that was not signed, nor did anyone discuss with me. Receptionist approach was "well it's a fee we have to charge regardless if it's in the treatment plan or not.." I'm not sure if she expected to have 2 signatures on two treatment plans, and that would validate it? I asked to speak with the office manager, after 5-10 minutes she came up front, explained my insurance didn't cover "exam", but they do cover comprehensive exam, which she billed for, which made treatment less then what I signed for. That made me happy, I appreciated the office managers time, she found a solution to the billing problem. The billing errors wouldn't have affected my rating, probably would have gotten 5 stars. What I disliked most what how the second hygienist treated me. I do not like feeling judged, and seeing that I have a fear huge fear of the dentist, having me sit in a seat with no explanation on how long I have to sit there, or any type of interaction just a cold short attitude, I don't like that. I hate feeling judged, and do not want to around someone who does not want to interact with patients. I treat people how I want to be treated and expect the same in return. In the end, I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Montgomery, and the first hygienist, they were absolutely amazing, nice, compassionate , the office manager as well, she cares about patients new or existing.

They even prefer his practice to any other's. He has performed a huge range of treatments on each of us, from multiple cavities in a child to cosmetic to crowns. We couldn't be more satisfied with the results. He prioritizes his work and isn't trying to run you five figures into debt when you sit in the chair. That's how you get lifelong patients. Never been more satisfied with a dentist.
