The shop is clean and is quiet even when it's busy. Sometimes the line gets long but it's because they are taking the time to do a good job with each customer. They offer hot lather, straight razor shaves which is pretty cool. A hot towel wrap on your face is way more relaxing than you would think. The prices are reasonable. Go see my man Greg. My brother-in-law has been going here for years and always has good haircuts, and so does another friend of mine. Frosch's was highly recommended to me by both of them. Well, my haircut sucked. One side was good, the top of the other side suddenly got a lot shorter, then longer again, like a trench. On the side it had a bunch of points, I would call it jagged. Just totally uneven. I had to get a friend, who does not cut hair, to fix it for me to make it look decent. My friend mentioned that my head is a little bumpy and maybe that's why it was bad, but my old barbershop never had a problem. I would be giving one star but I honestly believe it was a fluke. I heard great things from non-internet sources and saw the work myself over the years. Unfortunately, 0/1 is 0% and I'm not going to take any more chances. The attention to detail is what makes this shop stand out. I never ask for a specific barber because they are ALL excellent. Sometimes I get a new barber that is "training" but the outcome is always the same: an excellent haircut. Why? Because the owner and senior barbers are absolutely meticulous in quality control. They train their barbers to the highest degree and have a very watchful eye over new trainees to ensure absolute quality. The owner then called a secondary barber but before calling I asked how much he would he be, the owner stated 30-35, hearing the price I agreed but was very hesitant. I should have followed my first mind. The barber was cool but the cut had many flaws. The back fade was horribly uneven and my beard was completely destroyed to the point I had to settle for a goatee connect. The horror continued when concluding the cut I was quoted a price of 55 but since the barber admitted to messing up my beard he "discounted" the rate to 45. Safe to say this was my first and last time at legends.

At the time, I didn't realize they closed at 1. Two gentlemen were cutting hair and it was obvious that one of them wasn't happy about the three people that came in after us. He kept telling them that there were a lot of people in front of them and it would take a while. Everyone chose to stay. As the unhappy gentleman walked to the door to lock it, he looked at my husband and I and asked who was getting a haircut. My husband answered that he and my little boy were. The man said, "I don't do little kids' hair. Ms. Pam does the little kids' hair. Maybe he'll do it." The other man asked if my son (who was sitting on my lap quietly) would be good during the haircut. I answered that we'd never had a problem with haircuts before. And the first guy rudely said, "Yeah, we don't want to do headlock haircuts." We decided to leave after that. So disappointing. I found out that Ms. Pam does haircuts by appointment only on Wednesdays. If you have a kiddo, you should try them then. I've made an appointment for my son with a different salon.
