The shop is clean and is quiet even when it's busy. Sometimes the line gets long but it's because they are taking the time to do a good job with each customer. It immediately raised concerns about the standards being upheld here. Overall, the atmosphere did not reflect the level of professionalism you'd expect from a licensed establishment, and it left me questioning whether proper regulations are being followed. Management seriously needs to address this but can't be cause the owner contributes to issue.

The owner then called a secondary barber but before calling I asked how much he would he be, the owner stated 30-35, hearing the price I agreed but was very hesitant. I should have followed my first mind. The barber was cool but the cut had many flaws. The back fade was horribly uneven and my beard was completely destroyed to the point I had to settle for a goatee connect. The horror continued when concluding the cut I was quoted a price of 55 but since the barber admitted to messing up my beard he "discounted" the rate to 45. Safe to say this was my first and last time at legends.

The issue with this location and I've also found at others is they claim you don't need an appointment, but if you don't check in online, you'll likely be waiting at least an hour or two. Even checking in online a lot of times it'll be a few hours before you can arrive. While this isn't always an issue, if you're trying to get in and out for a specific time, it makes it fairly difficult to time it right. The system will also take you out of their online check-in so if you don't arrive within 15 or 20 minutes of the "estimated time" the staff has no way to add you back in so you're stuck waiting another few hours again. The haircut and overall experience is great, but the experience of actually trying to get in to get your haircut is terrible.

If you read any part of this review, read the opening several times. Sport Clips is great but you need the app. Where else can you see live wait times that are pretty accurate and get a place in line before driving over? If more people used the app they would avoid what I have seen several times. A man walks in and no one is in the store. He checks in and while waiting several other people walk in and have their haircut before him. Then the original man stands up, shakes his fist at the sky, and curses technology. Look, technology is great and if you use it you will be happy. Maybe the Chinese government can see my check-ins but I do not really care (they really can't this is not Tik Tok). If they want to see how many times I get my hair cut, so be it. But I am checking in and avoiding a line. Now that we have the app and check-ins out of the way, what about the haircut? The haircut is always solid and the staff are friendly and personable. This is impressive because I have seen how some of the dudes try and flirt and act charming. The ability they have to remain friendly and engaging is pretty stellar. If you are feeling like a little pampering, I do recommend the MVP so you get a ot towel and shoulder massage. They use a Theragun style massager so if you are a creep don't think they are actually rubbing your shoulders. I am a fan of Sport Clips. While I don't want the wait times to increase just because you have read my review, I will use the app so I won't be waiting long in the store anyway.
