I've had an absolutely horrible experience with this salon. I should have known better than to go…read moreanywhere other than my trusted stylist. First, I had to wait 45 minutes past my appointment time to even get in the chair. I would have left if I didn't need my hair cut and colored for an event the same night. Second, the "stylist" (I use this term loosely) had no idea what she was doing. The shop owner had to keep coming over to tell her what to do and check on her. She foiled/highlighted the sides of my hair and wasn't planning to do any in the back or front. The owner had to tell her to do those parts. Then she only trimmed the back, nothing on the front sides, or my bangs. When my hair was dried, I was horrified at the results. The highlights started a full inch below my scalp, leaving obvious roots. Not only that, they were blonde, not light red like I asked for. They were placed in obvious chunks, not natural looking at all. So she said she would redo it. Even bigger mistake! Because she had placed an all-over color on the rest of my hair that had not been foiled, the dye for the highlights lightened the rest of the red to an orange color at the roots, but overprocessed the entire length of my strands. So I had ORANGE roots and WHITE highlights. Absolutely awful. I made it obvious I was not happy, but I had no choice but to leave to attend the event I had scheduled for that evening, as I had been in the salon 6 hours at that point. The owner offered to have me come back in to personally fix the catastrophe later in the week and told me she wouldn't charge me for that day's visit (I would not have paid, regardless). My visit to have the damage repaired was supposed to be for tomorrow. But I got a call this morning that there had been a mistake in the booking and I would need to reschedule. So now I am being BUMPED from the appointment to fix it! I WILL NOT be going back to this salon and I suggest any others stay away, as there is absolutely no professionalism. To top it off, I looked on the state board of cosmetology's website and the "stylist" is not even licensed! Absolutely awful!
