There was caulk along the border between the wall and the tile that had to be scraped off before it could be painted and look at how clean the line is now! I love fun colors and with something this bright it's important that every angle be clean otherwise any mistakes are glaringly obvious. You can see how nicely everything was cut in and they always do such a great job protecting things that are not being painted and then cleaning up afterwards. And they always love up on my dog, which she enjoys! Dog tax included - in that picture, you can see the cool ceiling Pro Painters did for me a few years back.

We put it out a couple of days and met on a Friday. I was told that the bid would be to me on Monday. Putting this out three additional days. To this day, almost two weeks after, I have not received a bid from Bella Casa Painting. This turned out to be a waste of my time as I am on a schedule to get my house ready to sell. Very disappointing.

Now, the walls have a smooth finish and look wonderful. He even painted a couple of doors for me at no charge and cleaned up after himself when he finished working. Bourbon is friendly, honest, reliable, organized, and very meticulous in his work. I can't say enough good things about all the work he did to make my bathroom look brand new. There is no confusion about what happened; you, Bourbon Zeigler, were totally unprofessional and blew off or forgot our appointment. Trying to make it seem like I didn't know I was dealing with is just insulting. Original Review 6/6/11 - After discussing a painting and plastering job on the phone, I set up an initial walk through appointment a week in advance. Unfortunately, on the day of the appointment, Mr. Zeigler was a no show. When I called to find out where he was, he didn't remember the appointment and said that I should have reconfirmed with him. He never mentioned this requirement during our conversation; I simply thought making a appointment was making an appointment. If it was so crucial for him to reconfirm he could have called or texted, but he didn't. He just forgot we existed as soon as the phone disconnected. When I asked him if he could still show up, he said he was too far to make it and was already involved in another project. So despite our prearranged appointment, he probably had no intention of showing up and honoring his commitment. Or he just forgot. Either way, really lame. I found the entire experience to be very unprofessional. We're talking about a job (potentially) for thousands of dollars, not odds and ends. Seems to me that he just didn't take the whole thing seriously, which, if you ask me, is not a trait you want in a contractor.

I'm sure I could have gotten the project done at a lower price with another company, but the careful work was worth paying more. Given the costs I had some questions, and there was some unexpected trouble for a couple days with moving and reinstalling the toilet (which I since replaced as well), but Donnie was honest and helpful. My experience with Paris Painters was stellar from the start. My house in south Minneapolis is 120…read moreyears old, with a stucco (which hadn't been painted in 40 years), frame, and cedar shake exterior and an exorbitant amount of windows and trim. From initial estimate to completed work, everyone at Paris was professional, efficient, friendly, warm, considerate, and incredibly hard working. This was a multi-stage, complicated job: 1) removal of all the vines from house and garage (they were everywhere), 2) removal of storm windows so interior frames could be scraped and painted), 3) replacement of rotted trim and eaves), and 4) painting of both stucco and trim. I was very happy with the work they performed, which was well within the expected amount for this…read moretype of work. We had a 4x2' hole in the siding (from rot) on our 130+ y/o house; they found additional damage beneath and ended up replacing a number of siding boards and some trim in multiple places. They also added a new moisture barrier and flashing. The work was done quickly and efficiently with just a two man crew and supervisor, and they got it done within the promised time-frame (before winter set in) even though we were a smaller project. They also provided photos of both the damage and the work as well as some additional damage they found that we'd suspected but not had confirmed (rotted flat roof). We'll be rehiring Paris for that work as we were satisfied with the repair on the hole. We anticipated that the price would be high, but it was actually quite reasonable and they offered financing through ServiceNow.
